Sorry, SC. If you remember me, you probably remember that I used to post a lot but haven't been on KMC in like.... six months? Something like that.

And you're right. Most people who have used the New Gods have a tendency to make Metron just a resident of New Genesis; my theory about that is Metron is just so damn cool you want him to be on the good guys side.

But KIRBY didn't.... and if there is anything that Morrison is trying to do with Final Crisis, it's pay homage to the big guy, so it stands to reason that he would be using Kirby's characterization of his New Gods, rather than, say, Simonson's.

It's hard to tell before the event is over, but so far...yes.

And, in case you haven't been getting them either, the tie-ins are even better than the main story. Legion of Three Worlds, Rogue's Revenge, Revelations, Superman Beyond.

I completely and whole heartily disagree. The main story has been superior to all the tie-in's except maybe Rogue's

The main story got real good last week.

Rogues has been good though all 3 issues.

Agreed that the main story really picked up in the most recent issue. It could clearly build and become superior to the tie ins that surround it, but I don't feel it's there yet.

Legion of Three Worlds is basically porn for fans of the Legion and it's ridiculously convoluted continuity....

luckily, I count myself as one of those.

Naming Legion members are the best part.

Lightning Lad, Saturn Girl, Cosmic Boy, Bouncing Boy, Brainiac 5, Colossal Boy, Sun Boy, Phantom Girl...

Rock Boy.

How horrible does Didio comes off....i cant wait for this guy to be gone...Final crisis is up to # 4 and is suffering badly....issues 1-4 have been so disappointing and just plain bad......And lets not even talk about the batman titles,I think the JSA is the only title worth anything these days from them....Event Fatigue 😆 ,....oh and how do you blame the comic characters of the marvel family...rather then the writers? and what a cop-out about supermans 70th anniversary...this guy is bad...just bad.
