Joking aside, almost every alternate cover up depicted up until now has shown something that takes place within the comic itself. And there's no way Darkseid will lose in this event by being overpowered, unless it involves New Gods or Mandrakk. So I don't expect Superman to do anything else except lose like it's shown here to be honest (unless there's some sort of insane power-up)

I got it from Newsarama, one of the users posted the link. It's the second cover from Final Crisis #6 (next week).

But don't be surprise if Superman ends up beating Mandrakk then returning, losing to Darkseid in bout one b/c he was weak, and returning for round two and curbstomping DS. 😈

Now I could be wrong but isn't the anti-life equation essentially the elimination of free will in exchange for subservience to Darkseid? If that's the case then conversely the life equation is simply the ability to choose. So it's like saying "The person who will defeat Darkseid is someone....with free will."

Duh, the trick is keeping free will after your free will is destroyed by the anti-life equation.
