I know that in the first movie, GM received buko gratuity for the autobots being modeled from their line of cars... does ANYONE forsee a potential problem in the sequel? (in other words: if Bay HATES to give away money, do you think he'll hold back on using additional companies' vehicles just to save a couple of bucks?)
I well I reckon he'd probably have loads of manufacturers just throwing requests to him after this, but the smart firm owners requests probably won't be to be decepticons, as they are sure to be given next to no personality and to be destroyed at the end.
(Actually, that applied to Ratchet and Jazz too in this movie too, to be fair.) They'll probably think they're in a position to do the choosing on this one, I guess.

Well his toy transforms. (Lazy arsed transformation that leaves him looking like he has just stood up on his back legs, but it is meant to be his robot mode)This guy probably saw one in the desert he was in and nicked the mode with a scan.
No no, an actual robot form with arms, legs and a head. He had fingers and whatnot.

I thought he always was a Scorpion, even on Cybertron? And that he and Megatron were the only two to keep their original Cybertronian forms.

Dude, don't you know, in the film industry there's a saying: "When in doubt, steal!"George Lucas stole many scenes from previous movies in the 30's and 40's when he made Star Wars. Scorsese stole from a silent film called the Grat Trainrobbery, it's a well known fact, I'm sure ripping off is allowed.
Yeah, but they weren't less than 2 YEARS apart. People would be like... "didn't we JUST see this happen? Isn't this the SAME guy we saw in F4?"
..Is it true?

Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg will return as director and executive producer for Transformers 2, while Paramount has announced a June 26, 2009 release date— even if production will be interrupted by the June 2008 strike in Hollywood. Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox and Peter Cullen are signed on to return. Scott Farrar will return as visual effects supervisor, and anticipates moodier use of lighting as well as deeper roles for the Decepticons. Before Transformers was released, Bay expressed interest in an aircraft carrier character, while producer Tom DeSanto was interested in the Dinobots, Constructicons, and Soundwave.
Writers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman will return, having originally passed on the sequel because of a busy schedule. The studio began courting other writers in May 2007, but signed on Orci and Kurtzman alongside Ehren Kruger, and are being paid $8 million for a screenplay. Before signing on, Orci and Kurtzman said they wanted to explore more of the backstory and envisioned the Dinobots as previous visitors to Earth, while Kruger impressed Bay and Hasbro president Brian Goldner with his knowledge of the Transformers mythology. Bay is currently creating animatics. The producers expect that with a bigger budget and the special effects worked out, the Transformers will have a larger role. IDW Publishing is planning a sequel comic book entitled The Search for Starscream."
The only reason I'm having doubts is because it comes from Wikipedia, and we all know how reliable that can be ;\.
