Epic movie. Also, I was wondering,

Spoiler:
What did he say in the final radio transmission after the credits? Anyone know?

Movie was alright.

i heard the monster was a guy in a suit, and it wasnt CGI? please tell me this aint true.

Extremely doubtful.

It was CGI for certain.

The filming style reminded me of Blair Witch Project, but overall it scared me quite a bit and had many 'OH SHI- ' moments.

Poor Hud.

A lot of people walked out when I saw it. Did that happen for anyone else?

this movie was the shit. i enjoyed it. didn't stay afetr the credits though. i knew there was gonna be something and yet i didn't stay. f*ck!

and the way the movie ended,

Spoiler:
there was no closure to cloverfield. just more questions like where did it come from, what the f*ck it was exactly, what was its purpose.

the movie does show you generous helpings of the monster, just generous enough to see it clearly, but personally, i wanted more monster screen time. that f*cker was huge... HUGE! and the look is nothing that anyine has ever seen before... it may as well be

Spoiler:
alien.

I very much enjoyed this film.

The scenes of panic were very intense and well done. And the style sucked me into the world, as it was supposed to.

Yes, the whole film is basically what it would be like if someone was recording it on a handheld camera. I didn't feel sick but it does kind of whack you out until you get used to it.

I'll have to wait till dvd, it only takes about ten minutes for me to start feeling like I'm going to be sick. 🙁

we're still alive

Hmm... could be. I didn't actually stay after, I just read that on Wikipedia.

I'm going to try and go see this? Btw do some of you think this movie should have been rated R. It seemed to freak some of ya'll out.

Spoiler:
I missed the part at the end where the satellite fell into the ocean in the background. Anyone know if there's been clips of it online? Can't seem to find any

whos know if was even
Spoiler:
a satellite, coulda been the monster itself!

definately was, and i think he's gonna make a tv series

cant figure out the spoiler thing, i used to know but i cant find it, so anyone who doesn't want a hint at the extremely obvious ending just zoom by my post

picking up when the milatary, or whoever finds the camera and continue finding, but it's definately from a lower gravity planet

sorry if i ruined something for you

Don't worry, I have no idea how to do a spoiler eithor

A tv show? I dont see any reason for a sequel or a T.V show. I thought it was a great movie. Although, it may not have been original. I was given a fresh movie going experience. I left completely satisfied. I thought it was a great cast. I truly felt their fear and anxiety during certain moments.

well to leave it so unexplained and then not follow it up, it just almost ruins it there must be one

ruin it how?

The story that the filmmakers set out to tell was told.

This movie made me literally vomit. I'm not dissing the movie; I liked the story.

But the erratic camera-motion made me incredibly dizzy and I threw up i n the bathroom.

That's never happened to me before...

anybody else think the monster's face looked almost identical to the caver troll in Fellowship of the Ring?

Took m nephew to see Cloverfield earlier today. Our theater was full and nobody walked out. We all stayed until after the credits. I'll get to that in a sec. The film itself was very good. Scary, but I never flinched especially after

Spoiler:
Marlene exploded

Poor Hud is correct, I felt sorry for him. I liked how the creature was amphibious in nature. As for staying after the end credits

Spoiler:
I clearly heard "They're still alive".

I took that mean two things

Spoiler:
Cloverfield made $16.7 million on friday night and should have a $40 million dollar three day weekend
There will be another. The second thing is
Spoiler:
Roba nd Beth survived, are unconscious and can return

so thats what you heard? thats close enough but why would it say

Spoiler:
they're alive and not we're still alive? cause the fact that someone actually said something, it had to be rob or beth... they are the only thing close to the camera, unless its someone that found them

hey have yall heard this or seen it?
