And if his battles with Supes were the only examples of his liking to duke it out, then it wouldn't necessarily be in character for him to do so. But he also has at least 1 head to head battle with a GL, several battles with Orion, and he was all geared up to take on DD as well...And I'm not saying DS WON'T use the OE(after all SBP has ranged attacks at his disposal as well, so it's not like it would be unfair), but it's not as if the OE is a guaranteed win either. SBP is a bit more durable and powerful than Supes, so dealing with the OE isn't exactly out of the question for him.

it is something he prefers not to do, however, as the avatar is so much weaker than his true form. it can even be beaten in battle, if the opponent is strong enough. htis meaning it his true form can be even beaten in battle. why would he say it can eevn be beaten when ds just when on and on about how weak the avatars are. true form goes down to. ds does speak the truth, sometimes. 🙂
