Adding the haha displays a sign of immaturity and you're calling me a child?Just keep telling yourself that.
No, it doesn't. That's an outright ridiculous notion. Where did you hear of this? Did you even hear of it, or did you make it up yourself? Grow up.
For someone who just refused and called another immature, you're sure not making a good case for yourself by renaming the one you quote "FailingAnswer". Who's the immature one again?
Also, I'm pretty sure that's trolling. I'm also pretty sure that trolling is against the rules. Careful.

Isn't he Christian? It says in the Bible that homosexuality is wrong. Silly book π
Several things in the bible are stated to be "wrong", particularly things the Old Testament talks about. No need to call it a silly book. That could be considered offensive young lady. π
God loves ponies! As he does you and I π
Originally posted by TheAuraAngelIt is silly for it doesn't hold some of its values pure. Now don't take me wrong, for my closest friend is Christian. I love her, I respect her and I don't doubt her faith or that in which she put her faith. That doesn't mean the book isn't silly, because of two reasons.

1. It's written by man.
2. Man is biased.
Allow me to illuminate. In Romans 1:24-25 the following is said:
- Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.
- They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creatorβwho is forever praised. Amen.
Followed by Romans 1:26-28:
- Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones.
- In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
- Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.
It is through these passages that the Bible say no to homosexuality. At least these are the passages that Christians use to say no to homosexuality, for God said no to them. This is where things get silly. The book itself is not silly, not its content nor intent. The silly part is how open for interpretation it is. How it's written and how it's translated. And how people decide to read it π Allow me to continue:
In the book of Isaiah, verse 56:4-5 the following is said:
- For thus says the Lord: to the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, who choose the things that please me and hold fast to my covenant,
- I will give, in my house and within my walls, a monument better than sons and daughters, I will give them an everlasting name that shall not be cut off.
Which involve the love two eunuchs may have for one another (All of Isaiah 56) and the place they deserve in God's house. Now this isn't referring to homosexuals and I'm not going to pretend that it does. What it does however, is dubbing eunuchs a gender where two of the same are allowed love.
In the book 2nd Samuel, verse 1:26 the following is said:
- I grieve for you, Jonathan my brother; you were very dear to me. Your love for me was wonderful, more wonderful than that of women
Now in order to make sense of this verse, I reference you to 1st Samuel, verse 18:1-3:
- After David had finished talking with Saul, Jonathan became one in spirit with David, and he loved him as himself.
- From that day Saul kept David with him and did not let him return home to his family.
- And Jonathan made a covenant with David because he loved him as himself.
I am including this latter because I find it necessary to illuminate that David and Jonathan are not sharing a brotherly love. Now I understand that this too can be interpreted in another manner than homosexuality. The problem that is presented then though, is that God does not deny two men the love for each other.
As a final including, which I find more important than any other verse. John 3:16:
- For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
It is important to remember that no matter the amount of anti-homosexual verses and texts you find in the Bible, none of them are concluding. All of the verses that Christians use against homosexuals are situational. The homosexuals used to display that God condemn homosexuals are in all cases a generalization where the homosexual people are defiant God. This categorize the homosexual as a God-hating people and not as an unholy sexuality. So what anti-homosexuality Christians really are opposed, are evil thoughts towards God or neglecting of what God has so graciously given. In the Bible, homosexuals are viewed as people who express despise and defiance towards the creation of a family.
The one absolute throughout is that if you believe in God and love God, then it matters not who you are π
