See that part I get and actually agree with but, apparently having a fat friend can even increase your chances of being obese and if it's the same sex friend it supposedly jumps to 71% more likely.😬
Frankly that sounds about as stupid as that one liberal line of satire: "Hanging around gay people will obviously make you gay, just as hanging out with only tall people will make you tall."

Great, now when I am standing in line at the grocery store and I see some jaba the hutt in front of me scooping ice cream out of a tub with her hand and into her mouth she will be able to complain about how "its all her friends fault, or her genetics fault" instead of her own.
😂
"I hate fat people who sit around all day and complain about how fat they are and do nothing about it. Here's what I say; either be fat and proud or lose the damn weight. Pinche gordos!"

It's just so ****ing annoying to see people blaming other people for their problems. When I heard about this it reminded me of that chick that tried to sue MCDonalds for making her fat. I mean come the **** on these people are adults stop looking for quick fixes. Compared on the study I cold just as easily say people who are obese hang together because people who aren't obese tease them. So that solves why fat people hang with one another. Its irritating.
It is never another person's fault if you are fat, skinny, or whichever, but your peers definately have an influence on your lifestyle, as I argued before.
Like they say, if you want success, it is far better to surround yourself with successful people, than unsuccessful people (successful meaning whatever your definition of successful is)
If you have lazy freinds, or freinds who are too laid back, your motivation to work out, tone up, or build muscle will be low.
Bodybuilding is no joke, it is hard work, and it requires discipline, especially for "hard gainers" or over weight people.
You need constant interest, motivation, and discipline to keep a consistant diet and workout routine.
It is VERY easy to get bored with your work out and diet, and if you have freinds and/or peers who do not share the same commitments as you do, chances are you will lose the drive to your own commitments.
If you have freinds or peers who are committed to that goal, your motivation increases due to competition. You want to keep up.
Point is, I agree with that argument to a degree, but not completely. You are still entirely responsible for your own body.

Like I said clearly it's not always someone elses fault. I mean I've seen those tv shows where moms stuff their 3 and four year olds to like 200 pounds and you can never blame the kid. I mean they want everything all the time but, with grown people who can just say no or go to the gym or walk in general its like next excuse please.sleepy

I agree.
It takes a LOT to become Obese. If you don't already have a genetic predisposition to getting obese, and you become obese, it's almost like you wanted to.
It takes a LOT of eating, a total disregard for excersize of any kind, and laying around or sitting down for quite some time to gain that many calories...
On top of that, for a person of average metabolism to gain that much weight, takes a LOT of time.
If a person, who doesn't already have the genetics to become so, or who doesn't suffer some kind of disease, becomes morbidly obese, that means they , out of thier own choice, exceeded in actions over a long period of time which lead to this state.
It is entirely thier own fault.

are you a fan of Deathchant or Bloody Fist by chance?
