And Surfer's beaten plenty of people more powerful than Supes, so I fail to see your point. Besides, the whole "he's beaten that kind of thing before" is the logic that you Supes fans use, I personally prefer to look at things a bit more logically. But if that's the standard that's being used AGAINST the Surfer, I don't really see the problem in using it in his favor.

Like for example in the Hunter/Prey comics where the motherbox was actively communicating with Supes and adjusting him to be able to battle DD even to the point of acting independently. DD was adapting on the fly to the point where the only option was to drop him off into entropy itself.
Easy one to answer your question. When Strange put SS and Thanos to fight in the Astral plane. Was SS easily able to escape? No. When SS was pulled into Adams soul gem. Was he able to just escape? And again, with Supermans will OVERIMPOSING Surfers powers...where is he going? Nowhere.
Now I'm waiting for YOUR example of anyone getting out of T-vo. We're all waiting.
And once again. Superman has beaten plenty more powerful than Surfer..and even plenty of people who try and specifically exploit his weaknesses. This one is simply going by your logic.

It was for THAT thread.So you basically want to hold one standard on a thread where the abilities of Supes opposition is speculation, and a different standard in a similar thread where Supes own abilities are speculation?
Spiderman's powers getting amped up, as nvr said, is not the same as Gladiators getting amped up by the same mathetical multiplier. The Unipower is different for every user it even gives different users different powers at times. This is a noted fact about the power. It even describes such in the Marvel bio.
The same is not said or proven true about the motherbox. Which can communicate it's powers or use them on it's own. And has on panel shown both in it's arsenal.
Now quit hiding behind this smokescreen.
T-vo is a royal pain in the neck to argue against. Especially since the Kem-El persona of the Eradicator is the only person who Superman couldn't beat with it. Hell, he schooled Supes with it.
I seem to recall alot of Pings during the H/P DD fight. That would be the motherbox communicating with Superman. And it has proven to be able to communicate telepathically, electronically, and via the pings.
