it was during the Arion run with Busiek as writer.

Superman has taken worse hits than that and been fine anyway.

Do you not understand what a beating is?

I dont care what they held in their hands or fought at because using your scenerio, Thing has better durability than Goku since he have similar feats or even Gamora.

None of these people that I named can tank a nuke or Atomic bomb blast or take a beating like Goku and lets not forget Gamora has walked in the sun also, hell, Wolverine has been up close to the sun and lived through it.

Gamora has walked on the sun but she has been koed by far less, hell, Wolverine has koed her.

Wolverine has been at the sun AND LIVED.

Omg. Superman fights Darkseid and Doomsday. Those are beatings FAR in excess of anythign Goku takes, ever. 😐 Thor takes multiple hits from Thanos and only goes down to a knee, are you going to try and argue Goku can take a beating better than Thor? haermm Dude.

WOW, just WOW. Do you not understand what I am telling you. You cant compare Thanos punching power to frieza. Going by showings frieza punching power is much more impressive.
