Is the premise of high placement basically immortality?

Pretty much.

All he has done is shown some decent saber skill, and immortality. That's it.

Doesn't seem a very solid premise then...

My post was very general. So I didn't read all the posts.

I always use Carver as an example if Quan, Deadline or StarScream M aren't around. biscuits

But the bias and double standard has become a problem in the forum lately.

Maybe a mass temp ban will help. mmm

Thats terrible (using me) but I agree, I was wrong and if I get a warning, I deserve it because I did it yet again, first I fell into a trap, people tend to bring Superman up every time I am debating a character and I stayed on that topic instead of backing away from it.

If you can do me a fave, can you put out a warning that if anyone bring Superman up while debating against me, that they'll receive a warning because THAT is whats getting me in trouble.

Terrible, I know. biscuits

I'm a bit proactive for a few reasons. First, so the crap stops before it can gain momentum. Second, it cuts down on warnings/bans. For all my talking smack, I've only had to give out maybe 5 official warnings so far this year. In my opinion, it's my job as a mod to help maintain the forums w/o resorting to getting people in trouble.

I'm a bit more dickish in the cross genre threads because it would get shut down if problems occurred.

Why don't you guys make a sub-forum for cross genre?

indeed. biscuits

is that automaton from "The Day the Earth Stood Still" placed already? If not, where would it go?

I'm thinking mid/high-Herald.

We (mods) have discussed an anything goes vs forum on and off for the past year. Most of us, if not all, agreed that an anything vs forum on KMC would create too many problems. You'd have fanboys from comics, anime, movies, games and Star Wars converging in one area. I could imagine the warnings, reports and bans stemming from that forum. It works on other sites because they don't enforce rules or have no rules.

The solution was an off site forum which mods would link in all the versus forums on KMC. Raz is the only one who can make it happen. Unfortunately he's been rather busy with real life obligations. But we're all hoping it gets done.

Gort.

I nominate the Crystalline Entity (from Star Trek: TNG) for Mid Herald. It can travel at multiples of warp speed (overtaking the Enterprise with ease while the ship was traveling at Warp 6), can convert large quantities of matter into energy for consumption (it devours all life on planets similar to Galactus), and it's gigantic in mass (The Enterprise, which is the size of a city, is dwarfed by the Crystalline Entity).

Downsides are that it's shaped like a gigantic snowflake without any appendages and is pretty much just a gigantic grazing animal. It's kinda similar to a sun-eater, but rather than eating suns it eats organic life.

And like most crystalline creatures is weak to sonic attacks.

I agree with this.

Superman/Batman is one continuous wankfest for the World's Finest. Superman shredding Darkseid and Batman pwning Deathstroke just for examples.

I honestly have no idea how Tyrant thinks that Superman has just as many showings putting him below HH as he does putting him at or above that level.

biased hate, probably.

fourtheded.

Fifthededededed.

Where would one place "Father" from FullMetal Alchemist - he was a living Philosopher's stone essentially. And at his highest point after consuming "God," before losing the souls he had taken in he could create a miniature sun in his hand

And even afterwards he could suck souls out of people's body's to replenish his power, could create beings out of his flesh and while with sufficient power had a strong forcefield against conventional weaponry.

That's only a problemn if you're bothered by spoilers.

Me? I go out of my way to spoil myself. That way I can avoid being punched in the nuts by the story I'm enjoying.
