Professor X has some planetary level telepathy feats - I can't be bothered reposting them though.

He has quite a few in his respect thread.

And still has human durability. A person immune to mental attacks with a gun could shoot and kill him.
Of course, as could any random person who was fast enough to hit Xavier before he could think would.

But that is a bit rarer, the relatively "mundane" powers of the Avatarverse are more easily combatable, and Aang has never affected anything on a planetary scale.

I am having trouble recalling the best feat of an Avatar, what would it be?

it's probably the Kyoshi feat; which, i think, gets lowballed a bit. She moved an island using airbending alone. There aren't too many grand showings, it wasn't that kinda show.

Aang was effortlessly chucking giant pillars during his fight with Ozai.

A while ago, people claimed an Avatar couldn't bust a planet, i lol'd.

I'm not arguing for low herald, I'm arguing for elite meta.

Although when you look at kyoshi island

👆 elite-meta is probably accurate.

So I take it you don't actually have any idea how big a planet is compared to Kyoshi Island then?

Elite Meta sounds fine I guess, especially considering some of the weaklings in the tier right now. 😐

Darth Sidious needs to be higher, Low Herald.

Tidal waves, massive earthquakes, tornadoes, etc... An Avatar would phuck a planet up. I don't mean "bust" in the same manner as a DBZ character, but the Avatar could most certainly destroy the planet.

Over time a lot of characters could "destroy" the planet in the way you described.

Without flying directly though it, how long would you say it'd take Superman to bust a planet?

An Avatar could realistically destroy Earth in less than an hour.

Not very long at all. Considering he can cut a moon in half by flying by it, and with only the help of Wonder Woman and Martian Manhunter, can tow the Earth.

Less than an hour? Seriously? 😬 Avatars do not possess the power or the speed for such a feat.

I'm going to bed now; when you get a minute, take the time to think about what the Avatar can do and how fragile/volatile the Earth is.

Lol.

The Earth, fragile.

We could set off every nuclear weapon on Earth in one spot, we would probably not even break through the crust.

Well, honestly, in regards to planet destruction, Thor and Supes are around the same strength and both have displayed the ability to destroy a moon (even though it didnt take strength on both of there parts and Superman never flew BY the moon, he actually flew through it), on panel writers stated that Thor cannot destroy a planet and if he did, it would take a long time.

Kyoshi island while massive and weighing more that a couple hundred thousand tons, given low density rock is about 2.6g/cc, is actually a speck on the face of that planet.

I'm going to stick with elite meta.

High-Elite Meta sounds fine to me.

Seriously, Sidious for Low Herald. He has feats such as opening wormholes in space with the Force that can destroy a fleet of ships and destroy the surface of a planet, and was actually able to slowly drain the planet Byss' inhabitants.

You got a source on that? Only Beta ray bill has been shown to be a physical planet buster and he's as strong as Thor.

Do you have a scan of them saying that this about Thor?
