Actually, within the Matrix, the Agents, though programs, count as people within the simulation, which, per Cross Genre Rules, means the abilities translate as depicted:Neo can hop in and blow people up.
Also meaning Neo IS a reality warper, though of a lower degree, and not simply a technopath. For Cross Genre considerations, he would be able to effect the neutral reality of a KMC battlefield just as he would the virtual reality of his native Matrix.
That's the base framework of Cross Genre. Each character's abilities work as depicted in their native verse.
i didn't dispute that. i just don't interpret what his universe consists of the same way you do.

But on KMC outside of his universe he's given his speedforce powers exactly as if he were in his universe.

We are.For the purposes of Mixed Genre it would be Neo with the abilities he displayed within the Matrix, not his unplugged human self, and also not his abilities only working within a simulation. His abilities as shown within the Matrix would have the same effect against an opponent in the real world.
For example, by rule, Neo could dive into Ironman's chest and blow him up if he chose to.
this is akin to xavier owning nearly anyone in the astral plane, but then being a paraplegic in RL
i get what you're trying to do, but it's just kinda weird imo
Originally posted by Creshoskyes he gets the speed force, but imo (again), a marvel, image, dynamite, etc character doesn't all of a sudden gain their atomic/kinetic motion from the speed force too, and is therefor succeptible to flash manipulating that being's connection
Yeah granting him his full powers of his universe like granting flash his speed force powers. Speed force doesn't exist in marvel but we still give flash his full powers when he fights Marvel characters on this site. Right?
Originally posted by illadelph12I understand that Neo can blow up Smiths, and by forum rule, any being of Smith's same kind in the "Forum World".

But why do we assume that Ironman is of the same kind as Smith? I mean, Agent Smith was a clearly different being (a program, I guess, I'm just bringing myself up to speed on the lingo now) than Tony Stark, even in the merged Forum World... it was never shown if Neo could pull the same trick on Trinity or random passerby.
I guess we know that Neo could bring Tony back to life though, or has the ability to do so...
I just think there should be a line drawn between Neo having his powers transferred over, and changing other characters because of Neo's presence... we shouldn't treat Stark like a computer program just because he's fighting Neo. Right?
Correct me if I'm wrong, my head's spinning a little.
Also, hi all. Cresh, you're back! and Delph, long time no talk.

I'm not understanding why people have a problem with Neo's power crossing over. No one seems to have a problem with Cheetah being able to hit Yoruichi or vice-versa, even though Yoruichi (in her world) is a ghost.
they don't. its what his power actually is that's the problem.

Seriously. A shinigami or Death god, isn't visible to normal people. You have to have some level of spiritual power to see them.
Just like Neo's powers would be able to be used in combat. Otherwise what's the point of saying "Neo with his powers from within the matrix" or "Neo with his matrix powers" if its just "Neo with his technopathy"

what do you mean "just" Neo with his technopathy? That's still an impressive power. Then there's all his other stuff.
We don't know what his jumping inside of Smith actually is. How is anyone supposed to argue that he could do it to Luke Cage, Colossus, Thor or Superman?
this is what i was made to understand:
Neo only has his powers in the matrix, which, for all intents and purposes, is a giant computer simulation. Neo, when plugged into the matrix, is a computer program... he in turn, uses his powers on other computer programs.
Now, inside the matrix, everyone is considered a person, not a computer program. When people are jacked into the matrix (this even applies to Neo, pre-disconnect), everyone is treated as if they are and presumed to be human.
With that said, when you match Neo against anyone who does not originate from the matrix series, the only way it works is if you use Neo from matrix, aka the computer program... otherwise, he's just an ordinary human with the ability to talk to machines. All of his superhuman abilities (flying, tk, etc) stem from his ability to manipulate the matrix code; however, when used here on the forum, he's just considered an ordinary person with powers, like a comic character. When you're using Neo from the matrix (the program), all of his powers are viable.... this includes the power to jump inside a persons body and is not restricted to him being a "high level technopath" as someone phrased it previously.
If you disagree with that, Neo and anyone else from the Matrix, should be off limits. This should apply to Bleach character's as well because they are ghosts in their universe.

so tell me this:
How would you prove that Neo could jump in to and explode say, Thor.

Neo with just his technopathy vs Wolverine.
No matrix reality warping means he's toast and not very entertaining to discuss.

he'd still have his speed, his strength, his telekinesis etc.
but as i said to marwash, if he had his "jump inside you and explode" power, how would you argue it working on certain people like Wolverine or like Thor?
