Thanos w/ HOTI vs the Presence

Funny stuff!

The truth of the matter is that nobody will ever concede a point in this debate. It will always be Marvel vs DC along with each one of our individual biases which will dominate the discussion. The moderators as well, have their own biases, but what can we do? they are the chosen ones (to moderate, that is).

My opinion is that this match-up will end in a stalemate. I'm not a fence-sitter, I just believe that both are equal in terms of power they weild. And I'm one to admit that I barely read DC comics so I may be spewing jacksh!t but this is my opinion on the matter and I just thought of posting it in here as my contribution to the growing confusion of the population as to the conclusion of this derision-filled illusion we call a debate... (Al Sharpton's got nothing on me) wehehehe...

Yeah, I agree... But you said that Presence has never stalemated... Which isn't true, since GEB was created as part of the main DC line of comics.

I said GEB is part of the Vertigo comics. Becuz Yehweh is a vertigo Name. But meh, Doesn't matter much, GEB was omnipotent. He wasn't half omnipotent.

Once and for all, Thanos's power was temporary. He was never meant to possess it forever. We don't know how much of TOAA's power existed in the Heart of the Infinity.

A person who becomes supreme, and loses supremacy is not equal to an entity/force who has always been supreme and always will be.

Claiming that Thanos equalled the TOAA is like saying that the two Titans in Lucifer were equal to Yahweh. They weren't. Yahweh is supreme in all time-present, past, and future. Yahweh is eternal and infinite.

The Titan's weren't. Even though they usurped his position, they were still mortal in thier past. That is how Lucifer destroyed them, by attacking them in the past before they became supreme.

You could never kill Yahweh that way, for he exists supreme in all times and spaces.

Thanos w HOTI is definately a powerhouse, but he will never equal the Presence, TOAA, or MoM. Those beings are truly supreme and eternal, not virtually, but actually.

Yeah. Vertigo came out of some of those stories. So DC started grouping them together as Vertigo titles. Even if GEB was in the main DC, DC says that THe GEB was Omnipotent. So It would be no different than the one above all. Who has a collaborator who is his equal.
