]and every person who hits Superman results in "no one has ever hit me that hard"talk is cheap especially since their greatest weapon was themselves as they did a lot more on Prime than Sodam
and inexperience doesn't have to be mentioned when it's obvious
... Uh, no. Prime took a blast from 3 of the Guardians as well as he took blasts from Ion alone. And if anything it looked like he hurt the Guardians easier than he hurt Ion.
You can't compare Ion's NORMAL attacks to a gigantic suicide bomb from a Guardian.
tell me when Prime beat Superman at his best one-on-one
He manhandled Superman (at his best), Kilowog, and Powergirl at the same time in GL#25. Superman hasn't even tried fighting him one on one.
If you really want to play this game, Thanos hasn't beaten any confirmed top tiers straight up except for Drax and Adam Warlock (without the Soul Gem). Even his win over Surfer involved a sucker blast to start it off.
we have the no powers fight in IC
we had a weakend Prime against Supes and the other two Krypswhen did the two square off and have Prime Ko Superman ?
i'd like to see scans
This is really pretty irrelevent. A weakened SBP blew a hole right through Superman's chest/shoulder area, and at full power SBP was overpowering Superman, Powergirl, and Kilowog at the same time.
the strongest weapon DS has as personal power are the Omega Beams
and Doomsday got up after they hit him dead on
1. The Omega Force is Darkseid's power source. Everything he does is an Omega-something or another. In fact, blasts from Apokolips guns have been called "Omega bullets" before (Darkseid has been shown to power Apokolips tech through his personal power). However, his BEST power is the wipeout beams. What he used against Doomsday were force beams.
2. Doomsday got up, but only after Darkseid assumed he was dead and walked away, giving him time to recover. It was obviously meant to be a display of Doomsday's recuperative power, similar to how you see Jason Voorhees or Michael Myers incapacitated and they look dead, but a minute later they're up and running. Doomsday didn't "shrug off" the blast ... He RECOVERED from it fast.
3. Darkseid has numerous ways to defeat Doomsday in a straight fight. For one, he would realize Doomsday's recuperative power. He could simply blast him from a distance until he's down for good, or blown to bits. It's not like Doomsday would dodge the blasts. Or he could use wipeout beams (and we saw in H/P that teleporting Doomsday to entropy can stop him). Or he could simply use the beams to teleport Doomsday into one of those Apokolips prisons that we've already seen are capable of holding him. Or he could try devolving Doomsday (the perfect counter to his evolution powers), as Darkseid has shown that ability before.
There are many reasons why the H/P encounter isn't as impressive as beating someone on Darkseid's level in a straight fight.
not to mention that i'm sure you ar emore than aware all the Guardains were worried about DS' power so how is just one Oan's power comprable to Darkseid's ultimate attack ?
The Guardians were wary of fighting Darkseid + Apokolips and Darkseid was wary of fighting them. Generally Ganthet and Highfather (Darkseid's equal when he's not jobbing) respected each other as peers.
show me where it says the GL ring protected DD from most of the damage
It doesn't need to be said. Doomsday was surrounded by a green aura the entire fight. He was protected by a personal GL force field like GLs always are. Aside from that, it's common sense. Doomsday had trouble with a single GL before he stole the ring. Once he took the ring, he was slaughtering entires waves of GLs at the same time.
This is actually an example of a Guardian being > waves of GLs (one of whom was able to briefly imprison Doomsday before he stole the ring).
