Yup the wall is falling apart by itself. In its current weak state its possible to break some of it up as SMP is shown that he's made a cave in it but never broke right through. To do that he'd meet The Source, and he hasn't done that yet. He even states he has a short amount of time before the wall collapses to do what he wants.

and inexperience doesn't have to be mentioned when it's obvious
But the point is that Doomsday has always had a tougher time against Superman than SBP has.

Doomsday was incapacitated by one blast from Darkseid (not his greatest weapon, which are the wipeouts) and needed a few moments to recover. SBP instantly shrugged off blasts from Guardians, which are on the same raw power level as the blast Doomsday was hit with. In fact, SBP took a point blank range blast while Doomsday did not.
the strongest weapon DS has as personal power are the Omega Beams
and Doomsday got up after they hit him dead on
not to mention that i'm sure you ar emore than aware all the Guardains were worried about DS' power so how is just one Oan's power comprable to Darkseid's ultimate attack ?
And to say his evolutionary abilities didn't protect him at all is dumb. He was already evolving to the GL energy, and he was protected via the GL ring from the blast. He was shielded from the brunt of the blast by the GL ring (which was destroyed protecting him) and what was left KOed him. Part of the reason the Guardian did that was that he feared Doomsday could adapt to the energy to the point of absorbing the Central Power Battery.
