well because they feal guilty. they have been taught to forcibly seperate sex and innocence. as his been the greater part of society. infact it doesnt have to be that way at all.
even in liberal society{so to speak} sex is associated with violence/illogical deviance/rebellion/patriarchy/maturity etc etc etc. its actually the stigma attached with sex which becomes a self fulfilling prophecy and moulds people's mind to associae such negetive things with sex.
i think as long as two teens are emotionally secure and mature enough to interact with other beings of the opposite sex and still keep their personality around, that sex should be allowed and welcome. 18 is WAYYYYY too old to wait for sex . 15 is good in my oppinion. that is IF we are able to disassociate sexuality with the vileness that plagues society these days.

Why do parents go through such great pains to shield there Children from sex, something all Kids will learn about sooner or later, yet most don't try as hard to shield them from violence?
Most parents do not let there kids watch anything violent, so not sure why you would think that, anyway my parents for me wanted to tell me them selves instead of learning from some stranger.
which i find fine. it depends on the parent who are we to say what parents should and should not do?
the goverment does that already for us.jm 🙄

😮How old are you?
I'm pretty sure my age isn't relevant, but I'm old enough, mature enough, to know I don't want my kid sleeping around at that age. Hopefully they'll make the same decisions I made toward sex then, but I can't make them do what I did. It's their choice.
Why do parent hide their kids form sex? Because, do you really want your six year old to know these things that early in life? Like many said, kids are easy to confuse and they don't know better. If you tell you elementary-aged kid "A man sticks his penis in a woman's vagina and furiously pumps in and out until he spooges 'sperm' into her and then she gets off (if the job's done right, that is) and her vagina will contract, sucking up that delicious sperm. Then, said sperm goes to the egg, where a baby is conceived.", you really think the kid's gonna go "Okay, thanks for the info, Dad!"
First, his little world of innocence gets shattered, then he decides he should be a big boy and nail Betty in his 3rd Grade class. I think the best time to tell a child where babies come from is about 12 or something, but emphasis, "However, if you think you're going to ever experience the mindblowing bliss of coitus, you better think again" and then get the hedge-clippers.
Yep, I've got my "answers to life" all worked out. If my son asks, "Dad, what comes out of the vagina?" I'll answer with another question, "Pfft, what doesn't come out of the vagina?!" I'll be the bst parent ever!

Or we could not go with scenarios made up in our heads.
Always an option.
