Guys, RELAX! Is it really the end of the Marvel Universe that Namor got the better of Logan? Namor went to seek help and was confronted by Wolverine. Logan put his claws to Namor's head, then Namor punched him to a roof top. More talk about his mission and Namor gave his hand to Wolverine to help him up, then Wolverine plunged his claws through Namor's chest and punched him off the roof. Wolverine jumped off the roof in front of Namor. Namor punched Logan into a brick wall. Instead of following up on that punch, Namor went for a swim. Logan activates and energy field over the pool so Namor swam through the pool wall, grabs Logan and throws him into the ground causing a crater and immobilizing Wolverine in the process. Logan says every organ in his body is crushed but his healing is working already and he'll be up soon. Namor reminds Logan that he tried to kill him only moments ago via a clumsy effort. Logan calls Namor duck lips and Long John Silver and then Professor X enters the scene.
That's exactly what happened. There's nothing stating anything else. They fought and Namor came out on top. There's no "He wasn't trying to kill Namor", "He was only trying to scare Namor", "Logan's healing wasn't at full capacity due to something from 2 weeks ago", "Logan wasn't trying", "Logan fought like an idiot", etc, etc, etc.... To think otherwise is just inserting a bias into an on panel fight. Does this mean Namor wins every time? No. It means Namor won this time which happens to be the most recent fight between them. Namor is a warrior with super human strength, speed, durability, reflexes, flight, etc. Is it really out of the realm of possibilities for Namor to win against Wolverine?
People can't call foul and make excuses every time Logan loses. That's the reason people get sarcastic and bash on these threads when it pertains to certain characters. Superimposing personal thoughts, what ifs, nah ahs and hyperbole onto an on panel fight doesn't take away the from the result. Wolverine lost, plain and simple. So what? Every character loses in comics. It doesn't take away from the Wolverine character.
