yes i think Crysis will kick Halo out of the water, its graphics are superior and imo personally i think the multiplayer looks far more involved and enteraining, the suit is superior too in fun factor due to the various customisation, and the weps.
but new technology like that used in Crysis is always bound to be populour unless the team messed something up

Because Nintendo did something that had basically never been done before with the Wii? I mean, motion-sensing had existed before to a small extent, but nothing was ever done with it. And then look at how Sony suddenly redesigned their controller to do limited motion sensing (which everyone who's used it has told me it's crap).
That's going to have a huge impact on things coming up.
Plus they as a company don't make the mistake of trying to pander to the hardcore crowd.

Unfortunately Final Fantasy is not a good example for milking a franchise because very very few games are actually related and all of them, even the ones that are related, are very different. Same with Mario and Zelda, though the Zelda games all have some hazy connection between them, but even with that only a few are actual direct sequels.

I'm actually not so sure. It showed Halo in a pretty bad light, if Halo get's to continue it would ruin the entire world. Sounds like a game we should all avoid.
