Wow, had I known this before, I would've saved my self a lot of time.

Here Comes Tomorrow?

Ha! ... HCT has nothing do to with 616 Jean,
616 Jean was in a grave, DEAD!
HCT has nothing to do with the Phoenix Force of the 616 Universe,
the 616 Phoenix Force was still healing (incubating in fact) in the WHR,
which means it was completely in-affective.

thankyou

Actually, Jean came back to life after 150 years rembmer? All you have simply explains why she wasn't around for those 150 years.

thankyou

You really should get rid of your hate-on for Jean... its pathetic.

😆 Great find. Another enjoyable read. So basically Here Comes To Tomorrow was either retconned or it's just a possible future. LOL.
Or the handbooks are bullshit like they always are. 🙂

Then what was it in the HCT, if it wasn't 616 Jean?
Was it Jean from another reality? If it was and PF was wounded, how come it still used the power of the PF, if PF was healing itself also and was in-affective?

Evidently,
either HCT was retconned into non-existence,
or,
it was always just an alternate possible 'What if' type future.

Imo, it was retconned into non-existence all together.

The reason why,
is because in Here Comes Tomorrow, the PF is still in its Egg 150 years later,
when in fact,
the PF was ripped out of it's Egg during Endsong #1, by a Shiar device.

Jean then at the end of Endsong #5, merges with the PF,
and never returns to any Egg.

So, how was Jean still in an Egg 150 years in the Future?

Exactly, that's impossible. 🙂

Or there is always a different PF from different Universe?

Yes, there is a PF for every alternate reality,
just like there is an Eternity-Infinity and so one for every alternate reality.

The 616 templates though, are the real ones,
or the one's of consequence I should say.

About time this charade ended.

You know how many months I spent debating this,
had I known ... meh,
oh well, good things come to those wait, and actually read comics. 🙂

No understanding of temporal mechanics.

OPak's a bad writer.. this is obvious from the hulk comics.

And she still changed 616.

I know, but I disagree.

Evidently, according to the Editor's of this arc, it's just another Timeline,
insignificant apparently from their reply to a question:

=============================================

During Here Comes Tomorrow,
in the questionnaires to the Writers page,
an individual asks in his 3rd question:

"Are there any more Proud People" ... Those are characters from the arc.

.......................................................................................................

Look at the answer to his 3rd question:

"Ditto for the Proud People,
though they may be now only a glimmer in the Phoenix's eye
along with the rest of this Timeline
."

.......................................................................................................

Seems to me like the reply actually indicates the opposite... they say the timeline is now just a glimmer in Phoenix's eye... the "now" implies that at one point it was something else.

That's the end of the arc, after that issue,
the Timeline becomes completely insignificant,
since it will never be followed up on since that was Grant's last X-Men story. 🙂

=============================================

More proof this was always an alternate Timeline, before Jean Grey even awoke:

=============================================

In This Timeline,
Sublime had begun infecting the Human race 3 Billion Years ago,
and moved on to the Mutant race as well
:

It's not only stated, This Timeline is literally illustrated 3 Billion Years ago:

As yall can read for yourselves,
Sublime and his kind dominated all forms of life for all that time,
even Humanity!
Until the Mutant gene arouse, and this was their only threat,
Sublime and his kind
were manipulating the events of This Timeline for 3 Billion years
.

.......................................................................................................

But to dominate Reality they needed something greater,
and thus enters the reasons behind why Sublime wanted to take Phoenix's power:

"For three Billion years I have waited for you"

.......................................................................................................

Heh, and some think this is/was or had anything to do with the real 616?

KK, if this isn't enough proof, I give up, and think what yall wish.

What makes you think the sublime weren't around for 3 billion years? Clearly they were since they had to be around at the time of Scott's decision for it to mean anything...

Energy muzzle ftw.

Yeah, they were pretending to be "Kick". You know that substance Xorn was addicted to. 😂

Hence why beast though the was taking kick, but it turned out to be the sentient mold sublime.

It was present during phoenix's death, BEFORE cyclops made his decision.

If you think it has nothing to do with 616... you have a major hate-on.

Uhh, the fact that they dominated the Human race for 3 billion years.
The fact that they manipulated Humanity and Mutant kind for 3 billion years.

Please show me where EVER, has this been depicted in 616,
you're gonna sit there and tell me that Sublime, Grant's creation,
has been ruling all of Marvel's life-forms for all this time until Jean rubbed it out?

Tell me you're joking?

Incorrect, the instant a new Timeline is created through divergence,
it produces its own New History, leaving the original (616) unchanged.

Actually, when a timeline diverges from 616 its past history is still that of 616. 😆

My list would be....

Jaspers from 616
James Braddock
House of M Wanda
Jean Grey
Jaspers from 213

What? There is no logic behind this statement. They are called divergent timelines because they diverged at some point and were the same as 616 before that. WTF do you think diverged means if not that they are a divergent timeline?

Same thing happened in Rock of Ages. It was canon future of the DCU, until Kyle reached back through time to warn J'onn. J'onn let his hands get burned to stop Superman from smashing the Worlogog. The results of which, caused the Rock of Ages future.

Rock of Ages becomes an alternate (But Canon!) future. It's canon to the new gods only though, since only they experienced it and remember it.

Rock of Ages was the DCU future, until the time change. Up until that point, History was set to go that way based on past actions. That changed to due Kyle going back in time to warn them.

Exact same thing with Here comes tomorrow.

Henry McCoy (Earth-15104)

"Phoenix converge and absorbed the entire alternate future into it,
causing it to cease to exist.
She then psychically reached backwards in time to encourage Cyclops to "live",
to accept Emma Frost's love and thus remain at the Institute;
as a result,
the original timeline that led to Sublime's possession of the Beast has been negated."

Unless you're suggesting that the original Timeline,
as you wish it to be 616,
was nullified.

😆

What, you went into the page, didn't read a word,
then came laughing back like you had something.

Thanx, this continues to solidify my stance. 🙂

You must think that cursing is gonna make you right.

A NEW History is formed instantly and automatically.

That's how Marvel works homie, sorry.

He's trying anything he can to keep from giving Jean credit for fixing the 616 timeline and saving it from becoming 15104. Which it was, until Jean forced scott to stay.

After all if jean hadn't reached into the past and forced scott to stay, he would have left. Right? And if he had left the chain reaction of Beast taking "kick", Which first appeared in New X-Men #134 2003, before the Here Comes tomorrow story "first appeared".

So if the sentient mold sublime ( Who appeared as John sublime back in New X-Men annual 2001) didn't exist until Here comes tomorrow, then how come it predates it by at least 3 years?
