I like Blanka. Unfortunately for the last guy that played me I had already beaten 8 different Blankas and he didn't use anyone else. I went easy on him and chose pretty much every character in the select screen but the grapplers(never been one and probably never will) and still beat him because well...I was on a Blanka pawning roll.
You know people talk about maining one char and learning 2 others...me I want to use everyone but the grapplers. Its a habit I picked up after I became king of Tekken Tag Tournament in my local arcade back then. Knowing how to use most characters is much better if you ask me.

Don't get me wrong I will learn the specifics of 3 of them, but I will know the average combo links into special/ultras of the rest except grapplers since their style is not suited for me and getting to learn them will probably take me a while.
I am officially done wit X-Box Live and online gamin' period.
My record in SFIV is 11 fights, 7 wins, and 4 loses. I actually fought EXACTLY 21 bouts. But almost half the time I beat someone it would say "connection lost". Now I don't know too much 'bout this online shit but it sounds like some lames killed the connection right when I win so my victories or thier loses don't count.
For those honorable 7 who fell to my might, I commend you for your bravery.
Who plays like that? When you see my "Zone thingy" it says "Recreation" I'm not serious 'bout this shit and those who face me shouldn't be either. You thoght it was gonna be an easy win?!

that happened to me the whole 2/2 times I played online with Ryu.. and I suck as him
now I only game with friends.. and my roomies the only one who does xboxlive matchups
I got this game on PS3, and I'm loving it so far! I haven't played online yet but I will eventually. The controls are great in this game, I mean I can do the pile drive in this with Zangief easy. The only thing that's annoying me in this game is Ryu's shoryuken cancel to ultra, sometimes I would pull it off but the character just falls trough the move. Has anyone been able to do this combo yet?

Dude you just had bad luck. I've played like 200 matches and I only had 3 guys quit on me.

Man I have to move that fast to pull it off? I think it's going to take me a long time to master this combo. I really don't need this combo in a real match, but I just won't feel satisfied until I've done it (and to the point where it becomes automatic) because I see other players pulling it off in a match. I'll just feel inferior compared to the other players since this is one of the characters I'm trying to master. Thanks for the tip though, I'll practice more on the weekend.
