Jeff Schaeffer (Greatest SFII Hyper Fighting player, only one better was obviously Tomo Ohira) recently posted an interview of himself on youtube with him talking about all of his competitive years during the Golden Era of Street Fighter II.
It is an absolute must watch, because he talks about the competitive scene, it's dominant players, and the strategical aspects of the Pre-Super Special Gauge Era, or Pre-ST Era. To me, this is one of the best interviews ever made, simply because of the wealth of knowledge that simply is forgotten by most current players today in the game of SF.
Going from Mike Watsons unbeatable CE. Bison who somehow could destroy everyone, except for the legendary Tomo Ohira's Ryu/Guile. In fact, it even makes notion of just simply how God Like Tomo was in his adaptability...I swear, nobody, and I mean, nobody in the Top SF gaming world today can adapt like this guy on the fly.
The dude was stuffing out Jeff with 1-frame inv. hurricane kicks on the fly...that's absolutely ridiculous. He talks about just how far and dominant Tomo's Ryu/Guile was, and how much of a purist he was playing those two characters.
Lmao, anyhow, here are the links to his interview...and yes, I completely 100% agree with him on his statement of saying that Hyper Fighting was the absolute best, most balanced, most strategical, and most pure Street Fighter game of all time.

Here you go bro, this one should work
http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=FE341649092A70BF&search_query=Jeff+SF2
It's 8 videos long, however it's worth watching from the beginning to end...he talks about SFII:WW, CE, HF, Super, ST, Alpha and the strategies in which plays at.
Funny enough, his strategies of how he played was exactly how I was doing it during my time as well, yes, obviously I wasn't playing at the same level he or Tomo, etc, etc were. However the mentality of positioning and forcing players to come to you was in my mind at the time, the best form of dominating and controlling the match up.
Good Stuff.

I hope it comes out for PC. Preferably not several months after the console versions too.
Officially Confirmed:

GameSpot has just revealed Super Street Fighter IV. Yup, total surprise, I know.Super Street Fighter IV will be a standalone retail disc, but it won’t be sold at full retail price. Capcom wanted to release the new content as DLC, but it’s not possible due to all the changes they've done. SSFIV will provide current Street Fighter IV owners with some kind of special bonus though, which sounds kind of odd.
So what’s going to be in Super Street Fighter IV? Eight new characters are coming, two of which you already know about: T. Hawk and new female fighter Juri. The number of new characters could change though as Capcom is open to fan feedback. In fact, a lot of the new content here is based on fan feedback.
A lot of tweaks and rebalancing work is being put into the online code and the original 25 fighters, and because of that, there won’t be any online verses compatibility between Super and regular Street Fighter IV.
Check out the GameSpot story for more details on Super Street Fighter IV. The new game will be out in Spring, 2010 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. So how do you guys and gals feel about Super Street Fighter IV?

Edit: should this "new" Street Fighter IV have his own thread, or should it remain here?

Only to Arcades? Wouldn't that be pretty damn bad for business?
Not really, kinda. "Tekken 6" (or the latest tekken) has been out for arcades since November 26, 2007. Almost 2 years ago. It's making alot for store owners and tecmo, i'm assuming. And it's still highly anticipated.
