Yuri looks ****ing sweet gameplay wise.
Shes so going to get toned down or crappy health.
Juri will get slow love, it happens every single time, believe me, when Viper and Abel showed up almost nearly 90% of the people at srk.com hated both their looks, and dubbed Viper a "Snk" wannabe.
However now, both are excepted and appreciated and I feel the same way will happen with Juri. To me though, Juri doesn't really look anything like a Snk, but taken more from, just as well as Snk has done, to make them more of an "anime" type character. Capcom is doing this on purpose to appeal to the "anime" people out there. Because my experience at Japan has told me this...people who don't even know how to play SNK games will play it simply because the characters look "anime" and have "modern" like personas.
It seems to me, Capcom is following route with the same "well if this what they like, then this is what we'll give them" routine. I'm just hoping that we don't start having all these "pretty people" trying to become fighters like in SNK, because that's why Street Fighter is still great to me. Just look at their main franchise characters....Ryu looks like a real fighter....Kyo Kusanagi absolutely does not.
If we go from SF1 through SFIV, characters have become more and more anime type. The only time in which Street Fighter ever had real fighter archetypes was during Street Fighter 1, then Street Fighter II, it go more crazy with the likes of Blanka, Claw, Dictator, etc, etc.
Not too much of a problem with me, still, I don't like the idea of bringing back a "Super of Choice" option. That was retarded in SFIII and I don't believe it'll do any real good as a whole in SFIV, yes, prove me wrong Capcom, because in SFIII, characters lived and died by their supers. Characters either just had one good super, while the rest were garbage, or else all of their supers sucked for that one particular character overall period.
Wow, the only things I truly ever liked about SFIII was their music and sprites, haha.
