^^Yes he has. He has taken death beams to the face, been hit 2 the ground so hard he made HUGE craters, been punched thru mountains, takes planet destroyin beams on tha regular. His speed with IT is insant or 100% faster than light, his flying speed is WAAAAYYYY faster than a fighter jet (Nappa cought up with one and destroyed it), you cant even see his punchesor kicks. All of these and more put Goku way above Superman could ever be

What I don't get is that when Kid Buu first shot a (small) blast at Earth, Vegeta stopped it with an attack of his own but when Kid Buu used his much bigger blast, he and Goku were running and didn't try to stop it. What's up with that?

I get ya. I was thinking that if that first blast really was planet destroying, it would have made a much bigger explosion. That's what kind of got me there.

BTW did you know that Akira Toriyama OWNS bird studios aka the same studios that made the DBZ anime...therefor the anime is cannon since Toriyama overseas everything.
That;s like saying that Dr. Slump is canon to DBZ or that Chrono trigger is. Just because the guy worked on it does not mean that its part of the same storyline.
The DBZ anime is canon only to the anime. The DB manga is canon only to the manga.
Events took place in the Anime that did not occur in the manga. this is a distinct identifier of seperate canon.
