If it was from the super nova it would of hit superman first as in a super nova the solar material travels at a 10th of lightspeed while the radiation travels at lightspeed.It would have of been the entropy bomb.

The mystic power is a power amp that is more powerful then a SJJ amp, however it still doesn't mean Gohan lost the ability to go SSJ. A lot of fans have speculated the only reason Gohan never turned SSJ while at his his mystic amp is due to energy being to powerful to control and as a result would destroy him in the process.

Planetary level strength, lightspeed reflexes, magical weapons that can cut through anything, an unbreakable lasso and is the most dangerous melee combatant on DC earth. Yeah that's a low showing.
