There obviously is not a specific instance of him busting out kryptonite or red sun radiation. This was based off his ability to sense what weakens people and reproduce a variety of different energies in the past. I have no problem with people arguing against this. Like with energy draining, at least pointing out he can resist a sun eater lends credibility to resisting the Surfers energy drain.

Of course not, that's why their crossover is one of the only in existence that didn't have the heroes in question actually fighting it out. Even DC was like... nah better not...
I will however concede that Supes would put up a much better fight in the comics than he would in a forum fight though.

You are... well now we're getting somewhere. What about judges, I'd suggest a panel of 5 rather than 3 since we're talking about such a monumental topic. I was thinking Digi, Newjack, leonidas, Galan, and Scoobless cause they're all pro debaters who're familiar with the forum rules, familiar with debating concepts like logical fallicies, able to separate a debate they're following from their own personal opinions, and not overly invested in either character.

Even if Surfer physically fought Superman, it's not like it would be a stomp. Surfer has the showings. Anyways, a regular Surfer vs Superman battlezone would be great. No specifics. Provide SHOWINGS from both. No specifics or leaving out certain scans. All in all, all for nothing...anything goes. If Surfer can beat Supes then everything that is brought to the table should prove this. If Superman can beat Surfer than everything that is brought to the table should prove this. Not just nitpicking of scans or scenarios.

This is true, and yeah Polaris brought him to his knee's by just making sure yellow sunlight stopped hitting him.
On top of that though he has other esoterics. He can phase, and Superman has no way to hit a phased character that I know of. As I recall, he can also slow down time in addition to possessing super speed.

I recommend Rao Kal el, Time Imm, Lord of Bklyn, Boardwlkr, and Prof T McCabe as judges because aside from being very unbiased, they are also all pro debaters... Correction... Master-debaters! <--- Especially on all things Supermeng.....
