But, we're talking somebody with the same healing factor/durability and fighting skills, along with being able to keep 6 powers or skill sets indefinitely (afaik), from ANY superhuman or machine?

I am surely against someone who can copy six skill sets. he'll be able to copy my entire team's powers that will also be amalgamed into some other powers, And his own team. Six powers at the original pre amalgam lvls I can deal with.

For instance Wolverine would still have his Adamantium while Gideon wouldn't that is a huge advantage. Slade would have all his equipment Gideon wouldn't. Once again the fact is that one on one there are a number of Low-Metas that can give him a run for his money.
And without any copied powers Giedon is obviously low-Meta ability wise.

Once again Power Meshing

Let's say Gideon Fights The JLA. Would he be able to copy just 6 powers or all of thier sets? He might as well be amazo if he copies all of their sets.

He should realistically only be able to copy like half of martian manhunter's powers before running out of room for more.

Do you guys know what it took to kill Gideon in the comics? Selene. Via total life drain/soul suck. Hell, she killed off most of the Externals by herself. Gideon is a team-buster, throw him out. 👇

I'm sure some of the amalgams people can make will be able to do that. But it won't be Gideon we will be fighting. It will be ourselves plus his team we will be fighting. I just wanted him ruled to only be able to copy 6 individual pre amalgam powers. Unless he is part of the amalgam himself. Same with synch. Now if they are an amalgam, fine copy everyone's powers, but if they are seperate, that is like getting an amalgam without gettign one. Thank god power copiers can't copy shape changing and duping. We'd all might as well quit right now then.

Assuming they didn't speedblitz him and he was able to copy the powers before they got to him? He'd win. He IS Amazo, save for having a cap on the number of powers and less durability. He copies genetic templates, which means entire powersets.

And Selene is low herald level. Nobody at this level has a prayer of taking Gideon. Except maybe Omega Red, and he was banned for having a OHK.

Why didn't he copy her powers and try and reverse the effect? obviously he has some weakness that needs to be explored.

Plus once agian you guys are missing the point you have to prove that at base levles Gideon is too much for this tier and he isn't.

His Power Copying is soley Power Meshing therefore has no limits. the only way to get rid of him is to prove that at Base Levels he is too high which he isn't.
