STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- The Hunter

Snith just kinda laughs at your threats, as if there's something you don't know.

"I'll transmit the trace details," he says. "See you in space..."

He jogs off.

Rylis will head back to her ship and prepare to take off.

While she does so, she'll send a quick message to Makrus, saying "This bounty has me working with a complete idiot and if I don't kill him by the end, it'll be a miracle..."

No response. Makrus is on the job, just as you are, though his job consists more of fighting other people's wars than hunting single targets.

The Cold Hard Wit sends over its tracking information. The Last Laugh is preparing to leave orbit, and from there it will make the jump to hyperspace.

Wasn't really expecting a response, it was more of a "why do I listen to you, again?" sort of thing 😛

Prepare to leave orbit and follow as soon as we can get a trace on where they're heading to.

You can leave it on his message machine after the beep.

The Last Laugh seems to be waiting for something.

Well, so long as they don't notice that I'm following, good for them...

Before you can even get close, the Last Laugh pulls out of orbit and, once its well beyond the gravity shadow of Nar Shaddaa, it blinks away into hyperspace.

Cold Hard Wit pulls up alongside your ship.

"We'll have to wait for a bit," Snith says. "I can't just plot where I think they're going..."

"Try and keep from crashing into me while we wait, then."

Rylis is still rather pissed off at him...😛

It probably doesn't do your mood any favors when he jokingly swerves so close that your ship rocks.

"I'm sorry, what was that?"

"Want to test out the armor on your ship?"

"Twenty credits says you can't hit me."

"Listen, do you have a fix on where they went yet or not? Also, this file on Ragnor that was with the bounty is clearly inaccurate, as it seems that he doesn't work alone."

"Hell if I knew he had a partner," Snith replies. "He never had one when working for Nobog. And I'm still waiting for one. Could be awhile."

"Or at least never had one you were aware of. And hopefully this won't take too much longer..."

"Could take hours."

"Well, if this is going to take that long, then I think I might try and get a bit of rest, since who knows when the next chance will be..."

"Be my guest."

I suppose a few hours of rest won't be enough to counteract the effects from the Helodira poison 😛

"Contact me when you have that trace, then..."

Actually, that could do a great deal of good. I actually forgot to implement the penalty during your firefight with Kyle, but it doesn't matter much.

"Will do."

Snith sets his ship in orbit around Nar Shaddaa, to prevent wasting fuel. You can do the same before taking a snooze.

Oh, goody.

And yes, Rylis will go ahead and do that, and then get a quick nap in the pilot's seat. She's a light sleeper 😛
