Yes you are indeed correct and while I could see this Surfer indeed stealing a couple I still do give Prime the nod here due to his vicious hand to hand skills. Surfer wont be catching his punch like he did with the alternate Gladiator.

Here's the thing about regular Superman...
You either love him or hate him for it: more than any other hero, Superman has a tendency to become as powerful as he needs to be in a situation. PIS? Inconsistent writing? Hey, it happens; but to many others, this is the "essential nature" of the character, as someone once put it.
But even without using his weaknesses against him, I can still see regular Silver Surfer taking regular Supes out...though surely not with the ease Exiles SS took out Gladiator.
Now Superman Prime. I don't know much about this version, but he sounds like a vastly more powerful incarnation. And what I do know of Exiles Surfer does not convince me his "upgrade" is comparable.

very true. Surfer can EASILY detect exactly what type of knite i needed to take him down, as well as scan him for other weaknesses. And actually reproduce it.
