Alriiight...
I'll remark on the pistols saying that I don't normally see Senators that ready to fight it out.

"You don't know me very well, Master Jedi," Garm Bel Iblis says. "I'd die to save Corellia, but I'd die to save my family first."

The Diktat's husband reveals that he also has a concealed pistol. A much lighter job that he has little experience with.

"I feel the same," he says, less confidently.

"I appreciate the attitude. But lets hope it doesn't come to it."

"I nearly hope it does," Senator Iblis says, "for I would show them the consequences of messing with Corellia!"

Chett Merricope- the Diktat's husband- seems less inclined.

"They did call the Jedi for a reason," Chett says. "I am glad you came, Master Jedi."

"I'm glad to be of service."

"I cannot imagine why any of our leaders do not want your services," the Diktat says.

"Because they are stupid," Iblis says, curtly.

"Blindly patriotic, perhaps?" Chett adds.

"Some people feel like asking the Jedi for help is conceding defeat, admitting that their problems are to big for them to solve by themselves. I don't believe that is the case. We, Jedi have been trained to be objective, to provide new insight and to help, not to control. We do not wish to take over, and solve the problem ourselves, but to guide, and offer aid.

"Which they should know full well," Senator Iblis says. "This terrorism problem is far greater than anything we anticipated. The Red Rain was never so powerful as it is now that they have weapons at their disposal. And yet some stubbornly refuse your assistance."

"They aren't willing to grasp the situation," the Diktat says, "but they will, unfortunately."

"I agree, the publicity and the scale of these attacks are sure to show that the stakes have been raised."

"One can only hope," the Diktat sighs.

"Just know that if they come for us, I will not stand idle," Iblis says. "I will fight at your side. I just wish we could take the fight to them and not wait here like bait-worms in a can. If your mandate were to be... expanded upon..."

Iblis shrugs at you.

"We are safest here and I do not want to overstep the mandate. Besides, we need to wait for Valru to return with the results of his investigation."

Iblis is not thrilled with the answer, but you sense he agrees with you. There is nowhere safer on Corellia than the Capital Building.

-

Time passes. Sunda complains about being bored as the day edges slowly on toward the night. The sun is low in the sky when Gabriel messages you to come to his makeshift office within the Capital Building.

"Bring Sky and Sunda," Gabriel says.

Alright well lets go.
After informing the officers on site that we are leaving, we'll head over there.

You leave the upper floor for the office on the lower floors. When you enter, Gabriel is pacing by the comm unit. The one that Valru is meant to report to.

"I'm getting worried, Roan," Gabriel says. "I haven't heard from Valru. He should have reported in by now."

"Do you think something has happened?"

Gabriel shrugs helplessly.

"I can only assume!" Gabriel says. "I haven't been able to raise him on his comm."

"That's not good," Sky comments.

"We should investigate. Do you know where he was going to go?"

Gabriel nods.

"The Jenet colony."

"But anywhere more specific? Somewhere where we could start an investigation?"

"He would have had to check in with the Jenet-Corellian relations office and get his permit to..."

"This is a CorSec matter, not ours," Sky sharply interjects. "I understand your concern but I am not sure why you called us here."
