I only really became a solid competitor in the iron-man tourney where I had the Warmachine/Emma/Abomination amalgam.

Right....if you can make an impact with those losers, you know your debating chops are pretty decent.😉
Say what you will .. Kandy's team was one of the few I considered to be a potential annoyance in that tourney.
I wont go as far as to say I considered him a threat as I honestly couldn't see any of the other teams inflicting much/any damage on Bigfoot.

Dammit. I still think that people dont realize what I actually did to you. I created damn spots inside of you! You so much as move, and any random internal organ gets teleported else where. You would have died disgust
Except that that was banned under the same rule banning the opening of force fields inside people's bodies.
😛
Also the spots edges aren't intangible, if they don't encompass the whole object they're trying to move then it wont go through ... hell, other characters have actually moved the spots around by holding onto the edges.

Though the fact is- B-Dub has talked Spot up pretty well in that tourney- to the point King Kandy felt in love with the character.

Well, we'll see. Your fight is going to be a "KMC classico".
BTW, Scoobs, did you follow the "research" amedment appearing and then disapparing from the following edition of the rule?
Addendum/Clarification (#2): Battle Information: Combatants will be given general public information on their opponents (name, basic overview of powers (simple things like "Iceman controls cold" "Strong Man is Strong", or "Storm controls weather", etc), place of origin. More indepth information on your opponents can be gained via access of databases at prep area (assuming you prepped in an opponents native universe and their info is available, i.e., opponent is Joker, you have Batman on your roster) or the knowledge that your characters would have of the opposition (if they are allies, enemies, etc).

yeah, I saw that ... some characters have more than the basic knowledge of others they may be facing already though.
I know that... in fact, that heavily benefits me vs KFish... since the only character that is more or less terra incognito in his team is Taskmaster while KFish won't know anything rather than basic stuff on my DC-based chars.

I was just giving him a hard time. But we all know you were sh*t scared of telepathy that tourney, and lucked your way into never having to face it.
😛
Also, to Blair, the Spot stuff was clever. But he did pwn you in that match. Don't pull an illadelph and hold a grudge for years over a lost match ( 😉 )....we all know how that has hollowed him out into a shell of a man, cursing your name in his sleep.
P.S. I voted for ill in that match, iirc 313

He had to fight amalgam with nynja Psylocke as power character but got lucky that the amalgam was used by a noob (forgot name, Joe Sucks... or Stacks or something like that- remember he was a major Authority hater and an author of a "gem" of Hulk pwning Hawksmoor on Coruscant).
Against a confident user of Emma's powerset- Bigfoot would have been doomed.

I find your lack of faith disturbing.
😐
Nah, like I said, a telepath would have been annoying, but nothing BF couldn't have worked around.
I think I made up about 4 reasons on the spot why Psylocke wouldn't stop him ... something to do with being phased, having a ton of electrical activity in the brain at giant size ... um ... maybe something about energy fields disrupting telepathy... and something else I can't remember.

Three of them can be countered by a confident user of TP, but against nynja Psylocke...it worked pretty well. Given that she haven't had any feats to claim otherwise.
And as for current tourney... I'd like to compliment you guys, you're the only team I don't know what to do with now.

I'm not being condescending- I remember in Delph's tourney, I kept PMing her to talk about opponents strats.

True. But then again, in illadelph's last tourney him and Kira pretty much carried the entire team to victory, and I anticipate him doing great things in this one as well.
I remember our "rock nuke" tactic pretty well. Though we were purely physical team without any real prep...and going towards the dead end with Silient Hill location with the one we had🙁

In fact, it's "as for now"- since everything is going to change, I see "opponent-specific" teams being assembled\resaaembled as the tourney progresses.
Also funny thing- me and Krissy Von Doom (now retired) were the only female participants in KMC tourney ever (though there's also Evangel, but she's more noted as tourney host and I don't remember her actually competing).

Yeah, I probably would have changed a lot of stuff if i'd known that one was coming.
Also that started my bad habit of taking "token" characters into the teams- K' and Hawksmoor sucked in that role so far (mostly because of being little more than "token plushies" for their respective tourney teams), hope Emma would get more luck.
Also there was my fault of never watching Chronicles of Riddick in full and losing the battlefield practically tailor-made for us to win. Though in that case both we and Smurph would have claimed to take the post of high lord and it would have been a spectacular one-to-one over the control of flagship- though Blitz Prime posessed Staff of One in that match.
