In a steel cage blinded with masks over their faces, Batman battles his former mentor Wildcat and quickly deduces that he's fighting Wildcat by his fighting moves then holds back. Once he realizes Wildcat won't listen to reason he puts Wildcat down with a punch knocking some sense into him (Batman/Wildcat #3)

Non-cannon.
On the other hand Cap was once shown to take down Hulk with one pressure point shot.

Look my point is that even with someone like Bane and his strength. He still had to go through all of that just to take down Batman, tells you a lot that's all. In a fight like this, it would probably be a draw in the end if anything. Nothing can be taken away from any of these fighters and you or any one else can say that Cap will win this fight because of better stats. And my point proves just that. If you can't understand that, then I guest you never will. I would like to see this fight under different circumstances.
Your point was just stupid. Who gives a shit about banes strength. whoopy he strong.
He also not as fast or agile or has as good reflexes as batman.
while capt has superior stats in ever way to batman, bane only has superior strength and durability.
Not to mention Bane is no were near the fighter capt is and did not capt defeat bane in like 3 panels?
Also a capt in red skulls dieing body took out pym in a single attack which is far more impressive then the nonsenses feat you were trying to uses as if it even helped your point in the least

I don't know if it was really equal footing, Val had memory loss, was being mind controlled, and was dying from a disease.
Also Batman pretty much says KK is a much better fighter.

Cap wins 6/10. Steve's SSS makes him physically superior plus his impressive MA skill isn't far from Bruce's who I consider to be more skilled but not by much. Even so, being more skilled doesn't make you a better hth fighter and that applies in this case. With that in mind, it would take a long time to decide a winner between the two on average and no matter who wins both would end up seriously injuried after each battle.
So... consensus is that Batman has not actually mastered 127 martial arts styles, right? Because I am not letting that go.
Different writers have different opinions on Batman's martial arts training. For example, Denny O'Neil believes that Batman has mastered every style while Chuck Dixon once wrote a comic where it was stated that he only mastered the basics of each style. On the other hand, he wasn't the master of a single one but collectively what he learned made him a dangerous fighter. You can also look at Alan Grant who seems to believe that Bruce only mastered a dozen styles and fused them into his own unique style of combat. So as you can see it really just depends on who's writing Batman at the time. Still, DC's official stance is that he's a master of 127 styles and trained Dick Grayson in them.
Either way, I don't think more styles equals being more skilled then someone. You can be really good at one style of combat and still be more skilled then someone who good at various ones. I also believe there is a difference between MA skill and knowledge.
I think right after that encounter batman fought karate kid again after being teleported to the future oh batman kind of had the upper hand. OH an he outsmarted the whole legion of superheros yes even brainac 5
You're thinking of Brave and the Bold #5 (Waid's Legion) which was actually before the Lightning Saga where Batman fought pre-crisis Karate Kid. To be fair, this Karate Kid isn't as experienced or good as his pre-crisis counterpart. Still he did ambush Batman and should've had the advantage in there battle since he's mastered anti gravity martial arts a style that Batman adapted to on the fly and pulled off a stalemate impressively.
Originally posted by Phantom GhostApparently DC's official stance is that he is not a master of all 127 styles since nowhere is it published stating it to be so. Glad we cleared that up. Myth busted until further notice.

OK, so Batman and Cap are on par in terms of fighting skills with the exception that Cap has better stats over all. To me, one can't be better because he is more skilled or has better stats. And this fight has to come down to who can last longer. This to me gives Cap a clear advantage over Batman. Both fighters are capable of countering each other all day and night. But because of the SSS, Cap can last of lot longer than Batman. So what's the point of this fight? Because it really does come down to how long can Batman keep it up. And that take a lot away from any victory Cap would have over Batman.

You are right DC's stance on batman is that he is a master of fighting styles. Which probably means name a style, any martial art you can think of and batman would teach you in the ways of that art.
