Doomsday HP vs Thanos

Don't care what the general public thinks. There's no evidence to suggest he was killed by Darkseid's OB. He's never, ever shown the ability to resurrect in about a minutes' time. And Darkseid himself states, "No one...has ever [b]survived the Omega Beams." And is clearly shocked that DD did.

DD wasnt the only one (didnt Supe also survive full power Omega Beam?)

Right. But HP was done in '95 and Supes survives them later. Plus the whole Superman being essential to the DCU and thus immune from being erased by them.

DD was killed by OB, but regardless he takes it.

Prove it.

Stated it at the end of the book, Quan made the same claim but was quickly corrected.

Hmmm...

DD was not killed by the Omegas, neither was Henshaw.

DD does not resurrect in seconds.

In a straight up battle, DD would murder Thanos without much effort.

However, if Thanos can pull of a BFR, he wins. From what I remember, he bfr'd while on his chair.

You should really stop going by what people tell you.

It wasn't stated at the end of 'the book' (which I assume means Superman - Hunter/Prey.) It was 'stated' at the end of one of the Countdown issues. And the only thing that was stated was the major arcs he appeared in. Not the arcs he died in.

In HP, the only character to get hit with a Full power OE was Henshaw while he was fighting Superman.

The 1st blast of the OE knocked DD down (as he wasn't expecting it) and DS was KO'd before he could get a full effect (up close) OE.

Henshaw got that priviledge.

I don't think so. I think Darkseid could have put up a helluva fight if he didn't turn his back and get jumped.

Yeah. With one finger, even. 😂

Av he was killed though, DS even made a comment to it like when he said"you are beyond death"and it was stated by the publisher....I mean what more do u need?

DS had an idea what DD was capable of since they met once while he was still Uxas. However, he underestimated DD's power and blasted him.

How many times do villains claim the hero is doomed or that a plan if foolproof only to find out later that they were wrong.

Remember, Doomsday does not resurrect in minutes. Narration never stated that he died, nor was it even hinted at.

Right narration didn't state it but a character did, DS know's what he is talking about do u serrously think he would make such a huge leap in jusgment without knowing for a fact DD was not destroyed?

He also stated "No one...has ever survived the Omega Beams," after he sees DD get up.

Ta da.

...You're misunderstanding.

DS clearly thought DD survived his OB. Or otherwise he wouldn't have said it.

No he said"you are beyond death"meaning DD dided and resurrected as proven by the back of the same issue.

And again you talk out of your ass. It was never mentioned in the back of the same issue. Or the next issue. Or the one after that.

Looks like somone needs to re-read the story again. So even having a on-panel reference to DD being killed and later confirmation from th epublisher isn't enough LMAO.
