that was ages ago, if its the one i'm thinking of. one conversation versus the constant 'x character is stronger/faster/as powerful as/than me' doesn't count, imo...

If being skyfather means you can pwn groups of Top tiers, then Superman, Orion, GL, and a host of others could be skyfather. Going by what people use as skyfather lvl power. And no one should ever kid themselves into thinking any One hero is really as strong as Superman.
tbh, i don't think superman has that inherent versatility that skyfathers tend to need. he's smart enough, he's physically strong enough, imo, but when it comes to exotic powers, he seems to lack something that would put him on that tier...
i'm sure there are high feats for plenty of people (clark, diana, hal, alan, wally etc), but i wouldn't go bumping them up just yet...
just imo.
Fangirl is making a point. if we go by the Thanos arguement, then all these people are skyfathers.
And honestly, Superman probably actually could claim the title if we were honest with ourselves. He can pull wins against almost anyone. But the point is, if the Thanos argument is valid, then the Superman one is too.

well, obviously, if we're going by the 'he/she's punked heralds' argument...

Just curious Raoul as I respect your opinion. Do you think Thanos or Seid could be considered skyfather? I agree with what your saying about supes in the sense that some of his skills and feats are certainly skyfatheresque but he doesn't have the versatility that Thanos and Seid have imo with exotic variety of powers.

This is getting crazy thinking that wonder woman, hal, silver surfer, superman, etc... is sky father level, even close to sky father. Of course some of the people on the list is going to do good against sky father level beings because of there popularity but there power set dont even put them close to that level of power, hell some of the people that was named powerset dont even put them at high end herald or any where close to it.
You all are getting ridiculous with this power set crap and really need to stop because it is making a lot of you all look like fans.
Thor is one of my favorite character and he by far more powerful then anyone that was brought up in my post but I know one thing he aint over the high herald chain, anyone thinking other wise is ridiculous.

to be perfectly honest, all i know of thanos is what i've read in the silver surfer comics, so i really don't know one way or another whether he is or isn't. darkseid on the other hand? people make him out to be some kind of jobber, and he gets an awful rap in the superman batman comics (im talking of batkick and stairs, not the return of supergirl fight), but the fact remains. bar luthor, darkseid is superman's most dangerous enemy. now, he is different from luthor in many ways, but what he represents to superman is a foe who's power dwarfs even that of the man of steel. for a hero like superman, you need a villain like darkseid. he's a necessity.
now, as far as skyfather goes? at his best, with the ALE? sure. skyfather all the way. without it? not so sure...
anyways... bleh.

you say that, and then you say:

you have the gall to accuse us of hyping up characters we like?

Raoul, skyfather doesn't mean you're the level above high herald, it means you're above trans. When someone is skyfather level you don't pump them up, you take them off the list.

yeah. i'd misunderstood that, t'was my bad. i meant sub sky, or trans.
even then though, a couple would have insane feats that could compare im sure...
