If Supes just stands there and let Thor hit him, then yes Thor wins. But Supes whould win with his speed and other abilities. He can speedblitz him, and use Heat Vision or Ice Breath to win him this fight. 🙂

Thor is pretty fast on his own, and much more skilled and experienced than Superman, which would compensate for any defecit in speed. Ice breath? You kidding me? Heat vision may do something eventually, but more than likely Thor will absorb most of it.

Magic lightning will stun Superman, Thor is far from lacking in the range department. And as to durability, Thor takes shots from the likes of Thanos and the Silver Surfer. Bullets hurting him would be a low showing, even if it did happen, much like Supes needing help to hit Mach 50. Solely for the magic, Thor 7/10.

Masterson or Thor II thoroughly sucked. Masterson was later killed off as Thunderstrike battling Bloodaxe. Releasing himself from the Bloodaxe. kgkg is right, Jake would stomp Supes. Then again Thor himself or current Thor would curbstomp him.

We'll stick to Thor as himself not jake or anybody in this thread.

He couldnt no. And he didnt in theyr fight. That wasent regular Juggernaut either. You seem to have a difficulty to grasp when a character is or not at regular levels.

An amped Juggernauts does that very same thing to Supes.

First of all. Thats Thor 2. Second, at Marvel Spiderman gives trouble to everyone including Hulk. Hes the main hero of the house. Third, - that - Thor beat Gladiator so he beats Superman.

Suddenly Thor is poked in both eyes. He can't see! As he is reeling in pain. Some force grabs his hammer.
Thor pissed at being bested by a mortal, starts swinging wildly. Seeing this. Supes
uses freeze breath to quickly freeze thor and then uses Mjolnir itself to crack the ice. Thor is weakened, but like a true warrior continues the battle and listens for his opponent...waiting for the chance to strike. However, Supes is too fast and hits him so hard, the god of thunder goes down.

One scenario of many. I never said Thor can't win, but supes will win most fights.

He already tried the hat vison. It didnt put him down. It didnt put captain Marvel down either.

Must only work on streeth levels or chumps like Kalibak.

On the contrary. The fact he can beat Gladiator means he can ebat Superman. Thor didnt used the abilities he has and had Superman in the ropes.

has anyone explain what type of warrior training did thor have because everytime i see thor fights is just swinging his hammer around and throwing it at people. i don't see any type of skill or moves that should blow supes away.

There was one Thread of Thors skills at SHC. Dont know if its still up.

Of course you have the 12 mini called " Son Of Asgard " that came out very recently after Thors comic finished. It shows more of it, the trainings he had and how he became worthy to lift the hammer for the first time.

Also while at mortal levels ( Ellis/Deodato run i think ) he got a stalemate against cap apperantly. Dunno the issue tho.

Fixed it. Just cuz you can make Thor sound like a lumbering idiot doesn't mean Superman wins... Go Thor.

Supes wins his stronger, faster, more durable, has heat vision, remember bullets hurt Thor. He also has a myriad of other powers that make Thor look moribund.

Of course bullets hurt Thor it was one of th reasons Supes beat him according to Busiek, its why he spins the hammer when shot at rather than letting them bounce off him>
