Nah olympian they arent that fast in Dbz, or db. A human shaped object would have to be travelling many times faster than sound to be invisible to the human eye. Master Roshi is not that fast. This is mainly due to the authors lack of knowledge of physics. Dot forget it is mainly aimed at young children. D.C. comics approach things from a Far more realistic perspective.

You mean the snake way that was millions of kilometers long? That seems right. Considering he wasent always flying at super speed to keep is energy level in a considerated level.

Wich doesnt matter here. I didnt said it was realistic. I said thats how the creator did and thats what its showed. The human eye couldnt follow the fights. As absurd it must be its what it happened. They are that fast because thats how they wer written.
About DC being more realistic.....eh a tad more. Pre Crisis wer full of those ridiculous feats. And post crisis we have them also.
And they did. Whats the doubt there? They even got there faster than Goku did when he first went there.

Practically nothing in comics is to be taken serioulsy. Even post crisis is ridiculous. I take them as they are. For the porpuses of discussing fictional characters its all valid if its written, showed and proved in print. They did it so it counts.
I just got done reading WW #219 and was shocked at the fight between WW and Superman.
She cut his throat with her metal head band. I gotta give her credit and yes it was a magical attack.
Superman apparently has a healing factor cause he healed from the wounds rather quickly. Cause in the aftermath the wound was gone.
It is wrong to say that DC character are more powerful than Marvel's. They are not. They are just PROJECTED more powerful. Marvel have more powerful obstacles. Let them exchange universes DC heroes will struggle. Imagine Superman going to Galactus even a weaken one and says "I'm Superman you can't beat me." Galactus will throw him like a rag doll.
