Basically, his immunity or imperviousness goes up a lot once he is aware. Supes resistance to magic is based on his willpower. It is how he avoided transmutation from Blaze in her own dimension.

Indeed it is and Blaze is Mephisto level, thats on a par with Thor at least😄

I don't care too much how Superman flies - he flies, it's one of his powers, I deal with it. But giving him a new resistance out of nowhere that lets him get past a weakness (which Superman needs to keep himself from getting more boring than he already is) is stupid. So, what, Kryptonians now resist magic based on their willingness to overcome it?

In that case since against both Eclipso fights it was Captain Marvel who was doing all the reasoning, he matched Superman without going all out.

He could not overcome Mjolnir's making him ***bleed*** and could not overcome Shazam's magical lightning making him ***bleed***.

Am I adding numbers? The man was holding him and reasoning him..does that sound like he was pissed and fighting at 100%?
Either way..did the lightning Kill him? NO. It didnt. Work your way around it anyway you want. He took multiple lighting shots in a vulnerable state and still won.

You're right. They are and it's just as stupid. I'm picking on Superman less than I am just letting my very poor opinion of the writers who made that up known, because Superman 'being vulnerable to magic but it's okay because he can overcome through willpower' is just dumb. What's the point of him being vulnerable to magic then? Why not just make him completely invincible. Hell, he's even getting over Kryptonite nowadays.
