I already showed a few examples of Thor skills. Check the few pages before this one. You can also get some back issues of the recent 12 mini " Son Of Asgard " where it shows Thor earlier training and fights even before he got the hammer.
Superman is not more skilled than Wonder Woman, Thor or Hercules. He has skills, but not on the level these guys have. Neither the experience. ( with the exception of WW but shes still more skilled ).
Overcoming magical attacks its something most top heroes do. Not just Superman. Thor also.

ASupes hung with Ali precrisis without powers in a boxing match, I know its Apocrypha now, but he knows lateral movement and the difference between an uppercross and a hook. When he was given Kryptonian knowledge by the eradicator he gained Kryptonian Kung Sockey expertise😄

Interesting your at med school, I lecture Biology, Biochem and a little sports science, only to foundation year, but I do a bit of educational management as well, not bad for a dyslexic. Enzymes are my speciality, I know some pretty obscure facts due to my post grad research.

But he lost. He was teached by Ali after that. But thats pre crisis. There was also a Pre Crisis arena type match between Superman and Heracles but dont recall who won. It was just a physical one i think.

No problem. Those are just some. Pll have the idea Thor doesnt have any. That he cant dodge or make a grip. Son Of Asgard is pretty recent and full of examples of his earlier training, hanging around with Sif and Balder. Check it out. Its also a good comic to boot.
Now....on superman on - par - with Batman on skills, ill have to disagree. Hes good but hes not - that - good.
I think your refering to the Cobra fight. Wich is a high showing in skill against someone thats not in the top of the MArts of either Marvel or DC.

I dont have to ignore. What are the major acompliments Superman had with that training? He is not a pure grappler or martial artist. Batman/WW/Herc and Thor are.
And Hercules skills are not Thors. This is to pll who think Marvel top tier has no skills and never showcase it.

I think the Doomsday pics where he is ducking and using body shots on Doomsday is example enouh. Supe always uses his fists, he doesn't have a hammr gimmick😄
Thor on par with bats in fighting skills now i have heard some stuff but this takes the case,

olympian i am not doubting that thor has skills but again he is mostly pictured WITH the hammer swinging it around like the barbarian's of old. you showed us nice pictures of hercules beating the hulk did herc win the fight or did the true might of the hulk finally crushed him. My argument for supes is that thor will battle at first without magic and try to prove he is a better warrior/fighter than supes but i can see supes dishing out more than thor can handle due to strength and speed of supes. now thor then will use his god force on him and that will cause problems for our favorite boy scout probably hurting him bad but again have we not seen supes overcome magical attacks by beings as powerful(i.e. CM) or even more powerful like Blaze=mephisto and win??

Thats speedblitzing, not figthing skills. Spiderman does the same and hes not more skilled than the likes of the ones i mentioned before. A mortal Thor was able to stalemate Captain America.

He lost. Being Mortal he had nowher the strenght and durability to win. The only way he had to make Hulk go down was with figthing skills.

I agree. But that case its not a skill contest. Its a brawl one. Its the same thing he does when he fights the Hulk. What im saying is that he does have it in case he choses to use it and its superior to Superman, who skillwise isent in the league. Mephisto on his low showings is on Thor levels. On his high ones, hes stalemating galactus in his realm. Is Blaze at that level? Considering that Thor was able to defeating him before, as much of a low showing it is wouldnt that indicate Thor itself can overcome powerful magic?
