i have tried to be fair and balanced in regards to this battle earlier i posted the interview with dan jurgens who admit that supes have more power than thor but thor would win in the end due to magic, if i was totally blind by my bias towards supes i would not have posted that part of the interview. i just believe that supes have fought many more powerful magical beings and came up on top, that's all,

another point for you marvel fans- mutants in the m.universe are always evolving constantly i will grant you that we have threads of battles of "god-like cable vs supes(as usual) all the time. but when supe fans mention how due to the fact of absorbing the sun and continuing evolving becoming a more powerful being and dealing with the ramifications of it we hear people say bs or supes is boring. isn't supes a mutant like the ones in marvel, and could not we assume that due to absorbing the sun constantly he will evolve into a more powerful being and eventually overcome some of the weaknesses he has, Thor has no known weaknesses but he gets tired quickly and he gets beat as well i.e by gladiator, Thor is a magical being but is his magic limitless? I believe not he has a ceiling of where he can not get over but supes has no such limit, it might sound like i am preaching but i used to read comics all the time but do to school stepped back for a while now that i go on these threads i have notice more of a hatred for supes that any other character, and i ask why?? but anyone who is a non-supes fan can answer that whenever they want

Out of those people how many of them have ever hit Thor with anything like there most powerfull energy blasts? I'll tell you Thanos is the only one and he put Thor down.
Thor has been decked by blasts from Sentinnels, and been pierced by bullets. Ill admit that Thor's durability can be frikin amazing, but its also so inconsistent.
My point is that example from the Ultron unlimited serries is a pretty oor reference.
And about being a Fanboy, I prefer Thor and Marvel over D.C. and Superman. Trust me i am FAR more of a Thor fanboy, but is still think that Superman will beat him.
When it comes to feats of Durability and strength, D.C. are far more impressive and CONSISTENT. When it comes to feats of strength people have to dig out coppies of Thor that came out in the 80's. When it comes to durability people have to use the whole subject A beat subject B but C is probably as durable as A so he's the beats superman. Those arguements ae so Vague and usually not that valid.
