And here I think is what would happen to Superman if the real Thor had just one opening like Masterson Thor had...
BTW, I do realize this is not the real Thor, but Masterson had the real Thor's powers for quite a while. Considering that and add in Thor's personal god abiloities and his thousands of years of experience, you could see how Thor could be a match for Superman and then some.
Originally posted by OneDumbG0By the way, somebody had asked me when did Dr. Strange strip Thor of the Odinforce... It was issue #575, but I'll do you one better and post some scans showing the resiliency and might of the true Thor!
Also, I think Thor and Hulk is a poor scenario to use in this instance. Thor and Hulk trade battles a lot. Lot of people cite some better known Hulk victories, but think about just in the King Thor storyline where Dr Strange strips Thor momentarily of the Odinforce. Hulk and Thing go to town on him and Thor eventually beats them both without Mjolnir.
I don't really follow exactly how either has a major advantage over the other, KAM.
Superman's speed is nulled by Thor's near unequaled skill.
Thor's hammer's effectiveness is nulled by Superman's speed.
Superman's effectiveness using the large variety of powers is nulled by Thor's hammer.
It goes on and on until the pure magical nature of Thor's power, then it's just a slight edge towards Thor.
But, imho, it's a stalemate or Thor edges it out slightly. Not even close to a curbstomp.
