Not really, no.

Hulk and Superman have around the same high end feats.

it takes the hulk sooo long to even be able to touch supes, that most of the time he is finished before he gets there.

I don't think Hulk has the same base strength he did back 10-15 years ago, he pretty much starts in the 100's and goes up from there.
He's had plenty of upgrades and changes in the past 10 years.

Do you think Superman could pull together matter and anti matter with his base strength?

his base strength has gotten up to about225,000tons. thats a whole lotta weight.

Those are solid numbers, I got to admit.

But being 100class in marvel means you can lift 100tons up to infinity.
There's no reason to think Thor can't lift as much as Superman.

Brute Strength has a very small role in this fight........... Its speed and lasers !!!

Marvel does put Thor's upper limit as unknown. Same as Juggernaut or Hulk or Herculese.

It's too high to measure.

"nah or marvel directory would put you in upper limit unknown"

You have handbooks where Hercules for example is listed as not having a quantificable limit strenght. Same with Gladiator and others.

You didnt saw so far something so heavy none we are talking about couldnt lift or budge.

Now about Superman:

Yes the Spectres weight is not weight in the usually terms it is the "weight of the idea of god", ergo not physical but to much for living things, slowing it down is an amazing feet. 🙂

Whirly, do you agree that IF Thor could throw up a shield(As he has done in the past instead of fighting Hulk) and stop time (As he has done in the past) and magically transmute Superman's body into something else (As he's done to Creel and others.), Superman wouldn't be able to do anything to win?

I think supes speed is the leveller lp, that and the "Thor buster" punch Supes has 🙂

They didnt slow it down, they tried and failed.

That is kinda like helding a cosmic being. It can be done, hence why they tried.

And its the reason Kyle succed in doing it after that.

😆 I do love the term Thor-Buster punch. Wish I'd have thought of it.

But you dodged my question.

IF Thor was to throw up a shield that withstood Hulk punches, stop time and transmutate Superman's moleculs, would Superman be able to do anything in return afterwards?

No it was a case of one idea holding another🙂

They had no real idea what spectre was 🙂

That has nothing to do with being able to held him or not.

Kyle did it after all. And he didnt knew who Spectre was either.

It would never have time to do it, we don't know if it works or not - Obviously if it does and he has time which I doubt, it would stop supes. On thed other hand we know the "Thor buster" punch defiantely works.

Supes 9 out of 10

yes but the ring is ideas as well it works in the same way as the Spectres weght 🙂 so it interacts with it 🙂

We know he can throw up a shield and we know he can transmutate organic matter and we know he can stop time.....So why don't we know if it'll work or not?

because whilst his doing this superspeed and the "Thor Buster" punch finishes the argument 🙂
