I prefer Thor over Supes, but there were many plot holes in the Reign saga.

He's a skyfather, adamantium claws and 800 lbs strenght are not even an ant to him.
He took Desak eyebeams amped from Destroyer armor and couldn't take Logan's claws.
He beat down both Hulk and Thing in a slugfest cause Strange manage to PARTIALLY separe him from the Odin Force, he was still charged from sufficient power to stomp fool mortals.
So just think about that. This is Dan Jurgens writing and we all know he wrote post-Crisis Superman like crazy. This is Thor's might WITHOUT Mjolnir, WITHOUT the Odinforce and with the odds stacked against him. You think Superman could take on Thing, Hulk and Dr. Strange? Bah!
