Thor vs Superman

Loki was weidling Strange's cape AND Eye of Agamotto AND Orb of Agamotto.

Strange himself could have ended it all with those three objects.

It was either really smart of Loki to steal them or really good P.I.S writing so that they'd have a longer story.

If Doom can sneak upon Strange like when he made a deal with those three demons to obtain high magical powers, Loki can do the same, and steal his artifacts.
Loki with the cape was badass.

And this wasn't even GodForce charged Mjolnir.
Do you realize whirly that Supes won only thank to dealings of the two companies?
AVENGERS/JLA is canon cause they need to make it canon for further histories developments.
And if you REALLY wanna make it canon, realize that if a blow like that manged to stun Superman, a flurry of more powerful ones can certainly kill him

Loki with that cape was uber bad ass. Loki with the Eye was probably skyfather himself with all those artifacts. He even looked uber as hell.
But yeah, Strange is only human. Shit happens.

GH-UHH!!!!!<-----Is that Kryptonian for "I just got my ass kicked!" ?

Look what I found. 😄

Every week on CBRF they have a special guest, today's was Dan Jurgens. When asked about who was stronger and more powerful he had this to say.

ONION HOE: In your opinion Dan who is more powerful , Superman or Thor ?
Jencomx3: ********WELCOME TO THE DAN JURGANS SUPERMAN CHAT*********
Dan Jurgens: ONION: It's a toss-up, but probably Thor.

HMMMMMMMMMMMMM

I always believed in the Golden Avenger from the very start. ^.^

Hah, good on ya. 😉

"GH-UHH!!!!!<-----Is that Kryptonian for "I just got my ass kicked!" ?"

Why verily 😉

Flash didn't take away any weapon anyone on the other team was holding which is in his character to do, and Aquaman didn't have his magical powers yet, and martian manhunter didnt just telepathically smash the opposition. And Superman didn't deliver "In the name of all good things I need to smite all bad things" speech either, which means he was nowhere near his limit. And that wasnt current heat vision he hit Thor with either. Current heat vision as written in BURN!!! reached "limitless" status.

GH-UHH!!!!!<-----Is that Kryptonian for "I just got my ass kicked!" ?

Verily tis true!bangin

(Anyone notice, when Superman was knocked into the office building, he wasn't seen for a few panels. Probably on the phone to DC ownership, saying 'he's not going through with fighting that guy, unless you make sure the writer gets dumb and I win, got it??'😉 😛

Great pic, K3vil.

Roughrider, your response was hysterical.

This thread is still going on?

Wow, a magical sneak hit on supes hurt him. Too bad when Supes was ready..this is what happened...

And even though I know Supes would win, I do agree that it was a poorly written fight.

Sneak attack? He was standing right in front of him! 😆
Once smashed into the building, he was on the phone to the DC brass, complaining how that hammer hurts!

Thor still lost though!

See Comic Books topics...Dan Jurgens has some words on this subject. 😉

Dan Jurgens is a man with an opinion. His opinion in no more valid than yours or mine.

Indeed! 😄

I think Dan Jurgens' opinion is a much more qualified opinion than any of ours though. And since he doesn't have to worry about inter-company politics and cross-over editors, his, is a most honest opinion. I mean, give me one comic book fan that would ever believe this could happen: In a JLA/Avengers crossover, will Thor beat Superman? none of us would expect that to happen. Whether we think he could or would, doesn't matter. I mean... Superman is their flagship character for goodness sake. Batman is a close second and everybody else is far beneath the two of them in terms of pop culture reverence and sales. I don't even think the most staunch Thor supporters in the Marvel editorial staff would have pressed DC to make Superman lose.

Marvel editor: "Dude. Thor should win this."
DC editor: "Are you kidding me? It's Superman. We've got like 4 ongoing monthly titles going on for him, and 2 limited series every damn year! Thor's status is nowhere near your number one flagship character!"
Marvel editor: "....... Alright, fine. Just tell Busiek to make reference that Thor at least, was his toughest opponent. A lot of Marvel fans are gonna be pissed."
DC editor: "We were gonna make Superman win in two hits..."
Marvel editor: "... Go sit on spike and rotate..."

😂

Thors certainly more powerful , but id say Superman was stronger.

I vote for Thor, because he has a castle...

"Sneak attack? He was standing right in front of him! "

Ditto. That is kind of duh. How can it be a sneak attack when you - see - the guy swinging a hammer in front of you? What are you expecting? That he will give you a flower?

geez. They both had one technical win. Like the other "big" figths did.
