I mean "what the hell" have you never read a Thor comic before? He is cool. I think he wins. That is a horrible arguement. If you want to debate... type something that actually shows you know what you are talking about.
You should probably unplug your computer and never sign back on.
Good now not only have u provn that you r mentally impaired but uve also provn that you cant read. Are u this daft? Did i evn make an argument for thor? Did i say i thought thor wins? If all the supes fans argued like u do u think that he would have any wins on forums? LOL at your lvl of pure stupidity. What theory did did i evn post? Why would anyone debate with a person that thinks thor can lift 100 tons max and dat supes is 2500 times stronger?
And picking on the phrase what the hell really shows your debating ineptitude. Evryone has there own opinion regarding thor and superman
but if your going to debate who would win at least have a little more than head knowledge about the characters and dont start posting fallacy upon fallcy regarding both charcters( I know for one supes can lift way more than 250000 tons)
Whats so hard to understand? You cant hit superman if your speed isn't close to his. Thor got KO'ed by one punch coming from Superman. All Superman needs to do is just go fast and fast, and faster till he just his Thor once.
Thors only hope of winning is using the Odin Force! Although he can't use it to hit superman since superman can make himself invinsible. Superman can move.
I don't need to post any scan of superman Koing Thor with one punch. We ALL KNOW ITS TRUE.

You just don't know anything about Mjolnir's capabilities....

Thor can fly 3x the speed of light. Mjolnir has been shown to travel far > lightspeed on numerous occasions as well. And he has fought numerous cosmic foes whose speed is equal to or greater than Superman. For just a few examples, he's fought and beaten Surfer, Adam Warlock, various other heralds, Hyperion (whose Superman-esque eyebeams he once absorbed and turned back on Hyperion).
I probably actually agree with your conclusions, but the reasoning you're using to get there is extremely flawed. Also, as I think I explained to you once before, the fight was an extended fight with multiple blows. Not one punch....so that part is just a lie.
And it wasn't you, but whoever said Thor maxes at about 100 tons clearly has never seen anything Thor's ever done.
It's clear that you know something about Kal, but it's just as clear that you aren't fully aware of Thor's capabilities.

That's what I was trying to get through, whilst trying to get away with insulting his intelligence.
Superman may very well win, but it won't be by stopping Thor's hammer with his hand and punching him once..

Fair enough (for some of them, at least). He has matched cosmics on enough occasions for it to be reasonable that he can fight with Kal...we're not talking about Flash here. Also, at least a couple of those occasions were absorbing blasts from Surfer while he was flying around. So we don't have exact velocities, but it was far from a stand-still brawl.

Superman and Thor do exchange a few punches, but nothing to serious to make them knocked out. Superman later gets pissed and just land one on Thor. Knocking him out. Its like Superman was punching him alot where it contributed to Thor getting knocked out.
Although I will admit it doesnt mean Superman would win if it was a fight where talk and use the nature of their way. Like for example superman always backing down.
Anyways I know I dont know much about thor. I try to read, and research about Thor and only in some cases is he really able to move, and fight so fast

If you don't know much about Thor, why do you debate him or make false claims?

Also, Mjolnir doesn't always travel in a fixed path so it could literally be a roaming > lightspeed weapon that Supes would have to deal with.
Thor's 1-2 bad speed showings (Spider-Man, Mongoose...though the former was technically Masterson Thor, not Classic, so it shouldn't even be counted) are always given the spotlight over some equally impressive speed showings either with flight or combat reflexes. Since the forums assume peak capacity, it's safe to assume that the latter (the good speed showings) would be closer to the norm than the bad ones.
Originally posted by xJLxKingYou do know Thor has been stated mutliple times as holding back as well?
its in supermans Nature to Hold back and try to give his opponent a second chance. It is how he was raised, but using the rule of the website we must use the power at full capabilities
But I think you missed the point, in that simply because someone doesn't do something often doesn't mean they can not. Thor has fought and reacted light speeders before.
As to the comic book you are trying to reference. There is so much PIS and neither company has ever really referenced the comic as truly canon.
Either way if you want to believe some of that stuff then you will also have to believe other things in that comic that weren't to good for DC.

I just think that the Surfer would use his speed when fighting for his life.
