Thor vs Superman

Superman - this fight already happened. Superman knocked Thor out.

Thor was holding back, and that isn't cannon to Marvel.

Superman holds back too, though, and the canonicity is ambiguous at best.

Superman for the narrow win, imo.

Supes uses too much PIS, on KMC there is none.

I'm pretty sure he was being mentally influenced and was more brutal than he would usually be in that arc. Hence his more likely to cut loose. That's one of the reasons he was such an *******. Or am I mistaken?

It affected both Superman and Captain America more than the others, iirc. Or at least that what was implied.

anyway for me OVERALL Thor>Supes 6/10 (close fight; IMO Orion being the closest Thor can fight in DC)

I think Superman edges out Thor, mainly due to speed.

Take speed out of the equation, and Thor pretty much stomps.

is he faster - yes
fast enough to be untouchable by Thor? - no IMO.

after all this is an eternal debate which will never end...oh well...
Thor has shown good response against speedsters before as superman has shown good resistance against magic which won't make it a stomp in favor of Thor due to mjolnir.

IMO thor takes it due to versatility (energy drain, major magic blasts etc...)

you are putting it as if thor will be able to touch superman he is donei will admit that thor will be able to land some shots on superman but overall superman is faster and he will be doing more damage giving more punches and he will just win

in a brawl without any CIS or PIS superman will beat up thor with couple of punches because when not holding back and going all out superman is a stronger brawler then thor , superman wehile not holding back is able to ko people like solomon grundy or zod with 2 punches, thor never show any strike power to put out enemies of his league or stronger then him with couple of blows , superman while all out beat the hell out of darkseid while thor cant get over that edge and defeat people like kurse or surtur overall superman edge thor is both speed strength and punching power in a brawl superman will win it

personally i dont think it counts since it is only a possible future a what if..

the next best thing for supes i guess would be a sun dip amp or his silver age exploits..

Supes win..their strength and durability is probably the same..but Supes is way faster than Thor..

what about magic weakness or energy absorption in Thor's favor.
Plus Thor has shown speed to counter speedsters... Not that supes won't have an advantage but it isn't like he would be untouchable imo
