Where do you rank the Mageddon feat?

Way above Thor's paygrade.

... fighting characters with strength feats is now equivalent to you having the feats yourself? Wtf.

It's kind of like fighting the Flash gives you FTL combat speed.

How would Thor even know about Superman's red sun weakness?

Is common knowledge isn't it? Or has that changed in the new 52? Combatants get common knowledge about each other.

Wut? Strabreaker directly commented that he drained himself completely opposing Superman and Hal. Before that he was effortlessly moving earth around and laughing off Superman's punches. After that he got oneshotted by Aquaman.

Honestly, can you even read?

It isn't common knowledge in either universe.

A lot of the stuff that was common knowledge about preboot Superman isn't common about current Superman.

Most people don't even know he can go lightspeed.

Yeah, he is quite enigmatic in DCnU. Not that red sun was common knowledge in preboot DC either.

When Mjolnir drains all the energies present in Super Man, then Thor will know what powers him. Common Knowledge or not.

Mjolnir senses energy, but I don't think it'll sense a counter to those energies.

Thor could probably tell that Superman was powered by solar energy, but he wouldn't have any way of telling that he's weak to red sun energy.

I agree, in some of his earlier appearances the police noted that they had only seen him go tops 600 mphs. So he's obviously gone out of his way to keep his power-level under wraps. If the 5 day earth-feat is anything to go by, then Superman's not even aware of his own limits.

It won't be long though, before some writer turns all this around. There's always some comic where a couple of kids know all about heroes from 'the internet'.

You think mjolnir can absorb energy better than a sun eater who literally eats suns and Parallax was getting drained by him?

And how many times has Thor used energy draining against an opponent? 4 or 5 times in last 50 years? Superman has used more speedblitz beatdowns than that in one year.

Yeah, he is just getting aware of his powers.

And the feats are getting ridiculous at this point. He has four above planetary feats in less than two years and has a feat that is quite frankly absurd. Ripping doomsday in half? If he uses that strength against Thor, it would be over before Thor realizes what's going on.

DCNU is quite insane in his consistency.

But he's not the one Thor's fighting here.

No limit to what Mjolnir can absorb though.

He's absorbed the power of, and reignited suns with Mjolnir no problem.

Not a fair comparison.

Energy absorption is something Thor only uses against the most dangerous opponents, and something that literally just kills his opponents. It's just sucking the life out of them.

Speed-attack is basically Superman's staple attack. It's his go-to strategy.

There's no point in counting feats when Superman appears in far more books, and you're comparing Thor's ultimate attack to Superman's normal one.

Superman won years ago, what else is new..

Yeah, mjolnir has some ridiculous feats. But its about Superman's resistance to that kind of attack and he has resisted his energy drained by Sun Eaters.

Not that draining him is quite that useful, he would be back at full power in no time due to how fast he charges up.

And that's why its futile to use that here. Its like me arguing Superman T-vo's thor's ass like he did against Dominus.

Lol at comparing tvo to energy drain. Mjlonir is known for draining energy...when the last time tvo been used?

2011. Just before the reboot.

And I can guarantee you that Superman has used T-vo more than Thor has used energy drain against a character.

Energy drain by way of magic?

He'd be dead.

And on average Superman doesn't charge fast enough to resist getting hit once, and being killed/knocked out.

T-Vo him how?

And it's not nearly as likely when you look at the percentage. There will obviously be more incidents of Superman using T-Vo because he has around 2-3 times the appearances that Thor does.

Superman wins 👆

False. Even by magic, Arthaza drained Byrne Superman to an old age and to be quite human level in strength. Just after destroying her power source he was back to full power. And there is Starbreaker who drained everything from Superman. Superman still resisted the weight of a damn planet.

And even in that state he was moving continental plates.

So, Superman doesn't just withers away when someone drains some energy from him.

T-Vo him how?
Like everyone else.

I wouldn't be so sure. Thor has 50 years of comics to draw from, several of which have silver age wackiness.
