Perhaps he is going FTL. I'm still figuring it out. If it is proven that space bending only occurs when traveling FTL, you've got a handful of proof. But, I'm not sure that is the case. I was always under the impression that Supes flys at about 50% of lightspeed in space, max. Perhaps that isn't the case.

Same is true with all his powers.
When he was caught off guard by Hulk, Hulk knocked him through a building with a single punch.
When Supes decided he wanted to resists Hulk's punches, Hulk punched him in the chest until he calmed down into Bruce.

Supes used his superspeed to destroy a noisemaker near Hulk's ear. That calmed him down.

Superman can bend space/time
Bending or ripping doesn't mean he can go at light speed. (He has done similar things before)
Superman can't go beyond light speed (because that will rip space/time)

SHOWN in a comic book that he has the ability to dodge AND fight at superspeed in the process of fighting an opponent!! and who the hell said thor was weak against punches?? cripes, stop reading into things what you want (not you kg). it would be a terribly difficult fight for BOTH of them, but yes, a combo of speed (and why is FLASH hit, froth? why is GLADIATOR with '100x FTLspd hit? that's a ludicrous statement - characters with superspeed are hit all the time or what the hell good would showing a fight between them be? all this has been said time and time again on this merry-go-round thread), strength, heat vision, perhaps his expanding mental powers, all of these things COULD wear thor down to the point where supes could score one big shot and ko him.

Did you see JLA vs X-men? JlA had problem with X-men that just shows how much these crossover are valid
As for Hulk beating Gladiator ---- well if supes tired the same thing Supes would have been dead.
He has shown he can do (all the stuff I said) it and that's all it matters.
Why look at the lows? He has speed blitz ego, fought Hyperion, and choked him.
Gladiator has been said to be the physical strongest he will beak superman in two am afraid.
Mach 50 vs 100 light speed ----------- 😄
Superman needed boost up to move (war world) ----- piece of cake for Gladiator
When he is in decent fighting mood it's over for superman (confident).
