Ok, we all seem to say that Thors best chance is Mjolnir.
Supes is no idiot. Do you think he will let Thor actually keep and use his weapon?
He will knock Mjolnir out of Thors hands and pummel Thor.
If he picks up Mjolnir, thor will be impressed and will respect Supes. Fight over.

My scan shows that he went faster than Mach 50. You do not go to another country, go to the store to pick up a rare wine and be back home changed to comfy clothes in a seconds time.

Another Example of speed..while Supes multitasks..

Supes goes from Kansas, to the Carribean, to South America while carrying a hurricane and replinishing the ozone and then back to kansas within a few minutes.

i dont know where this mach one crap came from. maybe if he flew through a populated area at mach 1 hed cause damage to the existing structures thats why he wont do it.

the question i asked was - would hulk be injured by this magical lightning attack? the answer i think is certainly yes. hurt less? its semantical and practically impossible to answer. my contention is that ANY being struck by lightning bolts cast by shazam would be BADLY injured, perhaps killed, just like supes was. one specific example i can think of - it only took ONE lightning blast from masterson thor to essentially polish off gladiator (sorry, kg, i'm honestly not trying to start something). is thor's lightning (even though i guess it was cap mar he commanded) greater than shazam's? maybe, maybe not. shazam is considered one of the quintessence, and maybe the most most powerful wizard in all of dc. and supes took several of his bolts without falling.

then i finished by saying he DOES have a certain degree of vulnerability to magic, but even a superman editor says it is not as bad a weakness as it once was. that's why i think he could withstand multiple shots from mjollnir, and that it WOULD take one of thor's big shots to really put supes in trouble.

As for Thor's lightning, his Odin force is much greater than CM attacks, just going by who it has effect in general:

Gladiator ( who survived a solar system destroying attack like it's nothing) , Hulk ( it made him beg to release his hammer) , BRB , Silver Surfer ( who practically takes Supernova , and world destroying attacks like nothing) , Even Galactus( do I need to give bio 🙂) , and remember thor is always holding back going all out.

You have seen what he is capable of when he went insane.

CM&#8217;s lighting what has it done? Hurt superman lol ? Ever wonder why it hurt supes more than others.

Leo do you read lots of CM comics his lighting is not impressive at all when comparing to Thor , and Thor doesn't even use his max with his hammer.

If thor can do that much damage to all these people who are not even weak against magic (not even a little) , that's the whole purpose of having a weakness , it basically means that type of attacks hurt you a lot more.

ok havnt bothered to read up but i would say :

If its a fight to the death, Thor would win seeing that he is only killed by Jormungand 🙂

If its a fight to the not death, still thor cause he kicks ass 😛

Supes is no more weak to magic than anyone else.
He's just not AS invulnerable to it as with everything else.
Is Thors magic stronger than Blaze's, Mephistos, or Cyttorak?

thor has to hit supes. and if supes is going real fast. thats gonna happen

the question is, is superman's vulnerability to magic the greater liability or is thor's relative lack of durability (against supermans durability) against supes physical attacks the greater liability.

Although I don't think Thor would drop Mjolnir so often, but great story....
I can actually picture John Romita Jr. drawing this battle.
His artwork is dramatic and emotional enough to depict this
battle accurately.
