Thor just acts dumb sometimes. When he first fought Hyperion. He threw his hammer so weak it bounced off his chest. The second time he threw it it hit Hyperion hard and he beat him pretty easily. So Thor even after all these years still makes mistakes and underestimates his enemies. Rulk may be have been stronger then Thor but not a true match for her.

Actually Thor is notorious for holding back because he's does not want to KILL his opponents.
Also the hot part for Rulk for those that don't know its very simple. He is like Hulk however he emits more gamma radiation. He emits it so much to the point where he could make glass to sand by simply stepping on it. So Rulk still gets stronger, however still gets stronger however he emits more gamma radiation. Thats probably why his is red.

Lets not forget Hulk takes time to get strong. If what you state is true. Rulk is stronger then Hulk, however he isn't stronger then Thor who wasn't using the force. If was using the force Rulks head would have ended up like Desak in destroyers body or worse.
Rulk studied Thor, he knew what Thor was all about before they fought.

I think Not, Thor was not fighting back, and Rulk studied Thor.
Also Rulk NEEDED the mjinor to beat Thor into submission.

1st of all Hitttting people while they arnt looking doesn't cause to just randomly get your ass beat if it doesn't drop you you can still fight back. Second that jump did not hurt him and Thor just got beat up by rulk so he should actually be more worn out yet wasnt. And rulk doesn't get weaker as he gets madd he gets hotter and i guess after enough heat he overheats and passes out which it seemed he was about to do then Hulk punched him. But he was not near that point when Thor was about to kill him
