Bland hardasses like House? Yeah, I'll agree. No development whatsoever. Stark has an extremely human side to him, as well, including the disintegrating relationship he has with his teenage daughter. Unlike House, who likes to be miserable for no reason.

That makes it worse. If his ******* side is balanced with a very human and compassionate side that means he has very few weaknesses personality wise. 😬

That's... weird.

You do know the definition of 'disintegrating', don't you? He was an absent father and is struggling to maintain a relationship with her. It's very touching, actually, but full of tragedy.

No, he's not Mr. Nice Guy at home and pure evil in court. He's human.

Edit: He's got tons of flaws. Most of them stem from his intense narcissism.

I'd assume that the "disintegrating relationship" is part of his "humane" side. And, I don't like that either. Perhaps because of my own background, but I have a special disliking for ******* law enforcers and shitty parents... which he seems to fit the bill for both.

So, I dunno. My outlook on people is pretty bias so I guess it's not something to really think about.

It bothers me alot though, the whole "tough on criminals" thing. When they catch the killer the killer's usually a jerk or openly rebellious or oversarcastic, it's easy to hate him/her, and then the main character looks cool because he's also oversarcastic and he calls the guy scum bag over and over and has a dark humor and it's "cool", even though it's not. In reality most police officers are more afraid of the othet guy than the other way around and don't talk nearly as much shit as they do on Televsion, and criminals are usually that guy who lives next door to you and needed help but never got it, not some obivious control freak pyshco with a loud mouth and an overly sarcastic smart ass personality, which CSI and Law and Order the like like to paint them as.

Mace's vaapad will also work on Dooku. Anakin fighting unintelligently is a valid part of the fight; it's his fault that he was being stupid
*rubs eyes* Yes, we know about Vapaad, better than you in fact. Anakin fighting "unintelligibly" was due to situational circumstances of the moment.

This is a VERY simple concept.

Best show ever made is Law and Order. Exactly the same format for the past almost 20 years. Always the top show. Boston Legal doesn't compare.

EDIT: What do you think of some of the messages, becuase they can be quite clearly the opposite to your line of thinking

Dookus ONLY chance is with his superior knowledge of the Force. Even though I was very impressed by Mace Instantly Force Crushing Destroyer Driods in episode 21 of the animation(suggesting hes at least close to Dookus league with the Force), I still havent seen evidence that would suggest Mace could EASILY dispose of a Jedi AS Powerful AS Obi-Wan with a simple flick of the wrist mid-saber fight. Or match the way he knocked out Asajj Ventress, Sora Bulq, or Anakin Skywalker with Force Lightning.

Mace has more raw power than Dooku from what i have seen.

Well, you minus bring darth maul in,he was a master of vaapad, yet i never thought he was brought down by weakling obiwan in DOF.
So i would say saber wise, maybemace,i would still go for dooku on it.
Force, easy dooku. All out, dooku. Unless anything elsei wonder how dooku faired against anakin? Anakin choped his head off,so anakin is better with saber then dooku, mace is better then dooku,so anakin and mace would duel and ani wins.

[Darth Maul] was a master of Vaapad

False. He knew Juyo.

Raw power with his saber, not the force. I don't see how Mace could beat Dooku with the force. He simply has more knowledge.

No i mean force power. Mace's tk feats are far more impressive to me then Dooku's.

yeah because Mace is always Crushing Droids. Dooku doesnt fight Droids.. in fact they fight for him.

In fact we hardly Ever see Dooku fight at all! but he still has impressive TK feats himself. Just lifts his hand and easily crushes the roof causing it to cave in on Tholme for example.

But Dooku has much better feats on tossing Jedis around with the Force. and not just any old Jedis. Good ones Like Kenobi.

But you could similarly argue that Mace doesnt fight Jedis often so that would not be a good comparison either.

However we do know from Dark Rendesvouz that "The Most Learned in the Ways of the Force" was Dooku. We are also told in that book that in Lightsaber combat they are Equals. However this was set around 6 months before ROTS. Not sure if Mace improved his Vapaad in that time.

B.T.W does anyone want to explain to me how Vapaad would effect Dooku? it effected Sidious by having Mace match his speed. but Dookus advantages over Mace are fencing skills, and knowledge of the force(perhaps also his use of Dun Moch to taunt him and make him lose concentration..perhaps). Vapaad wuldnt cancel out any of these advantages Dooku has. this is why A>B>C arguments dnt work.

It just really disappointed me that Dooku was captured by some drunken pirates. Mace has taken out much larger armies of droids with the force alone.

I believe when he stated that they were equals, he was refering to when Dooku was a jedi. They both have improved since then, except Mace developed a whole new style, while Dooku only improved on the same style.

No. It was during Dark Rendezvous, which takes place mere months before RotS.

No he didn't. Shatterpoint makes it clear that he had developed and mastered Vaapad by the time Dooku left the Order; even his apprentice, Depa, had mastered and surpassed him in the style by that point in time.

In all likelihood, Mace hadn't improved significantly in saber combat in quite some time.
