GL Hal Jordan vs Silver Surfer

I dont have really any Surfer comics, but I do have Defender comics.

After battles, Surfer always to re-charege as well. After battles, hes drained also. And those fights dont last 24 hours.

And Surfer cant absorb any type of energy.

Stalemate.

How so?

Surfer needs to recharge as well.

He can recharge mid-battle. Hal has to use a Lantern.

The power of the GL ring is all or nothing, meaning that they do not get weak. Surfer on the other hand gets weak maybe after a few powerful cosmic blasts and needs time to juice up.

Because Surfer can absorb ambient cosmic energy. He doesn't have to use a battery. He is one.

And batteries become weak the more you use them.

Dont they?

Can you recall any instances of this happening?

Well off the top of my head like I posted ealier when he fought Abom he was weakend from a punch to the face.

And in vol. 4 (later issue) he was using the power cosmic to put a barrier around two people to protect them from a explosion. He becam weakened after that. Those Nucs shouldnt be too tough for Norrin to shrugg off.

He was not able to absorb the energy that was projected towards him.

Surfer does not have limitless controll over all forms of energy. Marvel encyclopedia is crap.

He was dizzied by a punch. How does this answer my question? Did the punch drain Surfer of his energy?

Im that case, he didnt absorb or control ANY type of ernergy? Why?

He was getting hit with 5 different types of energy blasts, and didint control not 1.

Sounds pretty bad but its true. The issue is Silver Surfer Vol. 1 #12.

And yes I do own the issue as I own all of Surfers comics.

By the way Surfer did win the fight but that is not the point.
